I had an epiphany this morning on the importance of prayer and communication with God.
I want to propose that our prayer and communication with God be the sole reason for our existence.
He has created all things and is able to create them all again. There is literally nothing He needs from us. So what does He want from us? What is the reason for Him deciding to create us and sacrifice Himself on the cross, for us? He wants us to grasp our purpose and His plan. He wants a relationship with mankind from free will and will go to the ends of the earth to achieve it. There is nothing that He will not do for those that love Him. We are not simply one of a million planets or one of a million alien races out there. Our relationship with God is everything to Him.
We all know that success and achievements are meaningless if we don't have loved ones.
His shining achievement in His universe is His relationship with us and angels. We need to grasp that our greatest achievement is accepting and nurturing this relationship with our God.
We must not neglect talking to Him throughout the day. Praying to Him at night.
