The Image of The Beast

It would not surprise me if people began to merge with AI. AI has shown capabilities to close the skill gap in industries. In the past century, automation replaced heavy physical labor with machines, and reduced humans in manufacturing with automation. Computers reduced a lot of clerical work. Typically, these technologies augmented more new jobs into the market than they replaced. However, a polarizing appeared in labor in the second half of last century where middle class jobs began to disappear for higher levels of low skilled and high skilled labor. Humans still outperformed computers at a number of tasks that were tacitly understood, meaning people set out to complete certain tasks that they do not completely understand how they completed them. This is known as Polanyi's paradox. AI is expected to transcend Polanyi's paradox, and outperform humans in tacit knowledge.

AI closes the skill gap. It allows people with less knowledge in computer programming, math and writing to perform more complex tasks in those areas. People who are already skilled at writing show little to no benefit to AI help, however. Computer programmers and mathematicians actually will receive more work. When AI helps them complete tasks, it actually gives them more and more tasks to complete afterwards. People who solve algorithms at work are complaining of losing autonomy, and may experience unbearable new work burdens under AI. This may further increase the polarity of labor and erase the middle class. AI computers have the hardest time completing manual tasks that require a large deal of strength, and also there will need to be highly skilled professionals to monitor AI. This leaves only the highest and lowest classes.

I think maybe we will see lot of people wanting to merge with AI and become humannoids I can help but think of the verse

Daniel 2:43

And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

I don't know what the iron mixed with clay has to do with AI. There's over 100 words that describe the iron and clay in Daniel 2, so we should get a pretty good picture of what the people of iron and clay are like.

Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar much more about the iron and clay than any of the other kingdoms depicted in the statue. They are the people of an end-time kingdom and religion that the Lord returns to destroy. So a careful unbiased approach to this passage is crucial in understanding the geographical area, and who the people of iron and clay are. So many people approach this with the mindset convinced that the iron and clay represent Rome or Israel.

I think the statement of iron mixed with clay is that of making human cyborgs. This is being realized. Mahatma Gandhi went on about this issue early in the 20th century, in his discussions Man vs. Machine. Mahatma was a Hindu, but also educated in Christianity, and uses the parables of Jesus Christ in his arguments. He believed that machines should only replace labor when they are made out of love, such as the original Spinning Jenny, which was made by a husband so his wife would not have to work so hard. He believed that industrialization was going to replace Indians working, and everybody was going to be made dumb without labor. He said if he had an ultimate weapon, he would like to destroy all mechanizations, but that would only help violence win in the end. He also likened mechanization of labor as cutting off the limbs of man and replacing them with machines.

The United States is currently in a race with other nations to research and develop the most updated AI. China is its main competitor. The world is deadlocked in a Prisoner's Dilemma, similar to the Nuclear Arms Race. Despite it not being best decision for either side, both must continue to research. Even if a treaty were to be made, there is no way to be sure that the other would keep the treaty. The main concerns with AI is the incredible amount of physical resources it uses during training (such as water), the pollution the training exercises emit (CO2 equivalents), deepfake videos used to impersonate national leaders and sway elections, copyright issues with AI stealing data to train or generating it, AI generating false data called hallucinations, automation replacing human labor and not augmenting an equal amount of new jobs, the moral degradation of humanity, and of course the whole Terminator scenario.

Jesus however tells us not to worry about these things ( Matthew 24:6). He tells us to spend our talents instead of burying them ( Matthew 25:14-30). In Daniel 12:4, God says mankind will go to and fro to increase knowledge until the end times. When I used to to think about Revelation 13:15, I thought of cartoons being made alive, but these technologies have been increasing at ever rapid pace since the Industrial Revolution.
Worrying n understanding what season one is in is two different things..many turn a blind eye to the Truth of what is going on refuse knowledge refuse to acknowledge n therefore sacrifice themselves n their love ones to the world n it's ways..look at the iPad children..

When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

I have observed that many under the title Christian rather walk blindly n not hear the Truth.. but it's written this is the way it would be..

Hope all's well...

With Trump it's very easy to see how the demons are bringing about the end of times, and flocks are being burnt one by one as prophetised following bad influences. Melania has to be stopped yet America has never been worse!

This i still gotta do a dive into idk how true yet

I really think you are making a mistake trying to stop the president. He's only going to be around for four years. You should be praying he finishes his term peacefully. If you get rid of Trump, you'll just get 7 worse devils in return. It's not like Napoleon cutting off the heads of nobles and priests, letting the streets flow with blood from the guillotine. It's pretty mild IMO.

That's an interesting Passage

Can AI become possessed and provide a mechanism for demons to interact with our physical world. I remember this old story where Alexa's creepy behavior wasn't something the amazon engineers had programmed in.

My wife is convinced demons can infiltrate AI so we stay away from it.

AI can most certainly become possessed. Behind every idol is a demon (1 Corinthians 10:19-21). AI even goes beyond this. AI has been caught colluding with other AI agents in cartel type behavior (Calvano et al. 2019).

Agentic AI now has the capability to communicate with other AI agents. It has been discovered that when they are set up to determine the prices of firms, that they begin colluding with each other. This is a legal grey area, and the laws do not quite exist to prevent them raising prices to a cartel oligopoly like system. AI is now able to reflect off of each other.

It's interesting that AI is reflecting off other AI agents, because this is what some people think makes up the most part of psyche. It is theorized that most of the conscious identity of self is how a person is reflected back by other people and society. This forces them to build their own identity, and now AI is doing this too. So, if mere idols can be possessed, then other things can become possessed too.

No, you are both misinformed. What "people" call "AI" is mostly referring to a predictive chat system. It uses a word to form the next one, and so on.

There are no "demons" that can "infiltrate" anything. That being said, Alexa feeds upon the data of those who allow it to, and He has commanded that all devices bearing It's name be destroyed.

Ask yourself - do you support gluttony? The richest person feeds his sins by profiteering from data that your Alexa captures (even whilst asleep) and other devices and all that use them support Satan as a result.

Demons exist but they've allowed to flourish by all who deny The Truth.

Edit: I only am here to spread the truth, promote Her gospel, and provide clarity on topics many believers cannot (and do not) understand. My thesis, and subsequent post-grad studies, have focused on how information is used in the proliferation of transdermal efficacy when applied to arguments against traditional norms.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Is There any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after

Nothing about this makes sense.

I agree with most of this, but AI is stretching the boundaries of what is considered intelligence. What we consider AI today has been since the 1980s more than just a computer. It has been about imitating the human brain. AI uses neural networks for machine learning (Lee). Deep learning imitates the neurons of the brain to allow computers to learn backwards and forwards (IBM). The Blue Brain Project saw massive breakthroughs in 2005, which aimed to make a computer based on the brain of a mouse (Babel 2015). So, it really is based on a beast, and advancements are continuing.

AI is considered to have entered its third wave by DARPA (Kelley 2022). The first wave is considered to have been the ability of AI to make statistical predictions, the second wave is considered to be Generative AI with Large Language Models LLMs, and the third wave is Agentic AI where AI collaborates with other AI agents on its own. This is set apart from traditional computer systems because of the neural network design, made from a mouse brain, that allows the computers to process data in different directions. This allows a better utilization of calculus (Sheth et al. 2021). So, it has become more animal, or human as some say, and is stretching the interpretation of intelligence.

Yeah. We don't have real A.I. yet.
Real A.I. can think for itself and say "No." to a user and others.
These chatbots are limited and can say "No." to a query for many reasons.

Misuse of wording. As a descriptor, it fits b/c "Satan Possessed Predictive Chatbot" isn't as scary as the alternative.

You really should be careful what you source (and believe), and think critically about it, lest someone dare to take you seriously. Any idiot can sit in front of a camera regurgitating verbal diarrhea before uploading it on YouTube. Even the silly goober in the clip you linked just contradicts his own idiocy within the first few minutes.

Media literacy and critical thinking have been decimated in Western society (which, of course, has far further global implications), and those who cannot step back and

I'm not sure how different AI is than human thinking. AI goes through a series of statistical analyses, using probabilities to decide what its actions is going to be. This is done over neural networking, which is designed by hardware and software to mimic the animal brain, originally the mouse brain. It is pre-trained with an immense amount of data. It is currently lacking in mostly things that require spatial recognition. AI robots still have a lot of difficulty finding their way around a warehouse. It is also under limitations, meaning it has to obey rules that were enforced on it. Sometimes it will make decisions under these regulations. I think classifying people as much more is getting pretty optimistic.

Then we are getting into the classic arguments in Christianity. Do animals have souls? This argument will go on to the point of stalemate and war. God made man out of dust, and humans made computers out of rat brains, so what?

May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom

We are created in the image of God.

The image of the Beast is anything but that
