The heart of the sinner and the Saint.

@StewardoftheMystery

2 Kings 17:13 Yet through all His prophets and seers, the LORD warned Israel and Judah, saying, "Turn from your wicked ways and keep My commandments and statutes, according to the entire Law that I commanded your fathers and delivered to you through My servants the prophets."

This is what DAVID SAID AFTER REPENTING OF HIS SINS.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

Isaiah 1:16 Wash and cleanse yourselves. Remove your evil deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil!
You do realize you are quoting from the Old Testament where under the Old Covenant it was on the Jews to repent of those sins?
Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked man forsake his own way and the unrighteous man his own thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.

Isaiah 59:20 "The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from transgression," declares the LORD.

Are you people blind?
For the prophetic ones, turning from the transgression of Adam's sin which is not believing God AND His words to hearkening unto the woman's word, then to believe Jesus Christ and His word by believing in Him is how we are saved is an act of repentance not done by you yet, brother, because you believe in a different form of repentance which is not in the power of sinners to do in turning from sin.

Recognizing that they are sinners in need of Jesus where by believing in Him is how they are saved from their bondage to sin and to death, but your call of repentance seems to remove the sinner's need for Jesus Christ to save them from their sins.

Can you clarify how you are NOT saying "You must save yourself by repenting from your sins first. Only then can God save you so you can live."

Not sure how you can apply the verses that we have been saved by grace.
You probably can't be helped.

If anyone wants to be saved they go to Jesus and have to repent of their sins and crucify themselves and live to please Jesus.

You have to do what he says to do to get saved.

His words are Spirit and life.

We have to eat him to have life.

It has been explained to you many times, but you refuse to believe.

I am glad someone else can see the tactics GT is using by trying to misrepresent the message of those who believe we are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Somehow he equates salvation by grace through faith as being disobedient and as excluding repentance of sin and obeying the words of Jesus Christ. This of course is not true.

This is the same mentality that many of the Jews had toward Paul because of his preaching of salvation by grace through faith. They thought Paul was teaching against the law, but that was not the case.

Paul was simply showing that no man is going to be saved based on his own righteousness and works of the law. Paul in no way preached disobedience, or lawlessness, and neither do we who preach salvation by grace through faith.

This is a tactic of the enemy to misrepresent the true gospel message. No one here is saying we do not need to repent of sin and do not need to obey the words of God. But this is what he is trying to falsely accuse others of doing. This is very deceitful, and is not of God’s Holy Spirit.
I believe that by believing in Him is how sinners can be saved from their bondage to sin and to death and after salvation, they can believe in jesus Christ as their Good Shepherd to help them lay aside every weight & sin daily because that is the only way to live this reconciled relationship with God and that is thru faith in Jesus Christ alone as we read His words and His commandment, we turn to Him to help us to do this for why it is written that the just shall live by faith in Jesus Christ.

So ignorant.

Jesus was prophesied about in the old testament and those prophesies are revealed in the new.

Even in this post, I fail to see how you can apply the grace of God to yourself in how you are saved.

Well, the ones regarding Israel to repent back then under the Old Covenant is different from the prophetic ones for believers on how to be saved under the New Covenant which is by believing in Him.

You will never get it because you would have to repent of your false beliefs and other sins.

Grace is that we don't have to sacrifice animals for their blood, and we have to believe Jesus is the lamb's blood that was sacrificed.

Romans 16:25-27 Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him–to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

Does that sound to you like the old testament is wrong now?

To all who refuse the scriptures that I give from the Holy Bible---

You will stay blind and ignorant because you all preach against obedience to God by repenting of sins.

No one will receive sight unless they do what Jesus says, so you will stay blind.

Romans 16:17
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
That is one the Lord has to help me with but seeing how he can influence others by his posts, and then turn on them at the flip of a coin, seems I need to point out his inconsistencies in his posts to others.

He wants to say he is not saying what I was saying he was meaning but yet he keeps circling back to what I say he is meaning that sinners have to repent from all sins first before Jesus can save them. That is what he is meaning albeit he denies it. There were earlier posts where I repeated what he was meaning and he did not correct me in all that time but only until recently. Either he was skimming my posts and not reading it or however he is replying these days, but his meaning should be clear to every one now, hopefully enough.

Too many believers in these latter days become double minded in thinking repentance in Acts 2:38-39 means repentance from all sins when in actuality it was crucifying Jesus in unbelief in Acts 2:36 that they were pricked in their hearts for in Acts 2:37 and why repenting from that sin of unbelief by believing in Him is how they got the remission of sins and the promise of the Holy Ghost same as the Gentiles did plainly enough in Acts 10:43-44.

It makes the matter worse when they refer to James as if works has to accompany salvation when James was just rebuking the church for mistreating the poor because in the eyes of the poor, the church's verbalized faith in His Providence was dead for why the church's faith will not "profit" the poor nor "save" the poor when facing death by starvation and the elements seeing how the church failed to lead by example. It is that faith in God's Providence that the church needed works to show that faith which has nothing to do with that faith in Jesus Christ for salvation which is without works.

Depends on how you believe Paul's gospel which is about believing in Him in how we are saved. As you reread Paul's gospel below, I ask you where is your call to repent from sins in any of that presentation below in how we are saved?

Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

I ask you again how does faith come? By repenting from all sins or by hearing the word of God that by believing in Him is how we are saved?

Not when we are looking to Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd daily to help us lay aside every weight & sin in running that race.

Salvation is by the grace of God thru faith in Jesus Christ. And guess what? That is how we are to run that race after salvation which is by faith in Jesus Christ also. By the grace of God, go I, thanks to Jesus Christ and the faith I have in Him.

You are not speaking the truth about me.

Not when we are looking to Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd daily to help us lay aside every weight & sin in running that race.
You go against Jesus and preach what some men taught you.

No one can enter unless they repent of their sins, like Jesus says.

You have had this explained to you by many times.

Again, you will not accept the truth and will stay blind.

I ask you again how does faith come? By repenting from all sins or by hearing the word of God that by believing in Him is how we are saved?

We have to confess our sins and have faith.

You refuse and made yourself an enemy of God's by telling people they don't have to repent of their sins to get saved.

I trust Jesus to see my error and to repent of it but as it is, I do not see it yet regarding your claim of false witness.
You want Jesus to repent of something for you?

You are ensnared by the devil to be blind and teach against Him.

You have to repent to have salvation and sight and understanding, but you refuse.

You go against Jesus and preach what some men taught you.

No one can enter unless they repent of their sins, like Jesus says.
Show a verse that says exactly that.

I've been showing you verses that says by believing in Him is how we are saved but you act like it isn't there regardless of how plainly Jesus has said it.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Note the Father's will on how Jesus saves us below.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Nuff said.

Show a verse that says exactly that.
I've been doing that for months, blind man.
I've been showing you verses that says by believing in Him is how we are saved but you act like it isn't there regardless of how plainly Jesus has said it.
We have to believe that we have to obey him.
I GAVE YOU SCRIPTURES THAT SAY FAITH ALONE IS DEAD.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Believe what?

You really think ALL THE SCRIPTURES that tell us to BELIEVE...TO HAVE FAITH---THAT they NULLIFY ALL THE SCRIPTURES THAT TELL US TO OBEY?

You are ensnared.

Note the Father's will on how Jesus saves us below.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Nuff said.
You will never ever be able to nullify God's Word.
