My last morn I awake
this being my final day
never again on this earth
will I see things this way
What should I want to do?
to leave my mark upon it
that my life is worthwhile
before I finally quit
This makes you think a lot
if everything you will miss
there's so much you could say
from your taste to that final kiss
As I spend time thinking
the awaiting darkness gets near
prepare for that ultimate moment
even when it causes a tear
God has promised to be near
to those who trust and obey
so no matter our life's end
