the death

[rebellious]

They hung Him high, they stretched Him wide, and because He loved He died. For us He spared His precious life; for us He was crucified, but in three days He rose again with all power in His hands. And in three days He went to heaven, seated at the right hand of God.

For us Jesus endured such strife, for us He gave His all, and because He loves you and I, we will never have to fall. He is our joy in sorrow, He is our light in darkness; He is all we’ll ever need because for us He died!

He died that we might have life. He died to render us free. Jesus went to Calvary just for you and me. His reasoning for going through all He did goes beyond dieing for our sins. But our Lord and savior gave His life so we may live abundantly. He knows your pains; He suffered too, yet He did this all for you.

So as you continue on with your life think of what Jesus has done. Ask yourself were you worth the fight, and know that the victories won. Have faith in Him who holds all power; the bread of life is He. Jesus is the king of Kings, because for us He died!

I am very greatful that you all have enjoyed this poem but when i posted it i didnt realize it was the unfinished one. In the newer one there are some minor changes. Hopefully I will post that one soon.
