The Day Will Come

The day will come, i believe it will
When i can rest with you, and embrace my free will

No more crying behind those smiles of gold
No more secrets in shadows waiting to unfold

As a child i promised to fufill ,all that was asked
I signed ,as told too, i never thought to ask

For truth be told i never did see
I would make it this far, today never accured to me ,

The second i dared to hope you see,
They called in my card, they sent for me

All those years have passed without a sound
But I dared to dream, it must have been loud

For were i am headed you cannot come
In this place all my protection will be undone

I will answer my call, and do what is asked
For one day i pray this will all be my past

The guardian that walks hand in hand with me
Is the same Angel i have sent to watch over thee

So for today and tommorow, i send to thee
That dream that iv held deep within me

I will come to claim what was destined to be

This is awesome. Thank you sister. I like the last two stanzas and from my understanding, God wants us to hold fast that gift or dream/vision He has entrusted us with, then one time we will be questionable to it. This reminded me of a song which is always my prayer concerning my vision and here are the words:

"God revive my heart, Renew my VISION,
Prepare my life, For Your purpose and Your plan,
Take me deeper into, Your presence and Your power,
That i may now glorify You Lord...."
