This takes a lot out of me in my physical being.I cannot tell you why this is,but it does. I had to rest for several hours after the Lord was kind enough to use me for the time he did. Brother Stephen spoke on something, which goes right into this next part of the cost of service I believe!
Now from this love so given to us by our Lord.Comes!!!!!What Love back?? Well it should!! But not from the World it does not! And life is not always so kind either! Hence the circumstances of our ministry!( 2 Cor 4:7-18!!)
As brother Stephen also mentioned,our mind battles as well with our flesh and our Spirit! Our flesh looks to run away from the Lord! WHY?? Because as Jesus himself said!( Luke 18:18-19) And what did Jesus himself do for our example? He put his flesh to death on the cross. He also told us to do the very same thing! ( matt 18:8-14) What Jesus is saying here is simply this!( Eph 6:12)
And to combat this!! he then tells us what to take!! (Eph 6:13-20) Here is the point! Our flesh is our bondage,we can never get away from this until that which is perfect comes back to take us! Jesus being the perfect, not only sacrifice!! But Also Jesus being the perfect renewing!! And how do we begin to renew in him? By starting with our mind!( rom 12:1-2)
We replace our tape memory! If we do not!! Need I say anymore about that?? Day by day,week by week,year by year,and season by season, through God's Own Word do we take our bondage away through him!Prayer goes with action. Prayer restores our mind,thereby making Our Spirit strong,so that Jesus in us,can remove the bondage from our very flesh!
Paul knew this.( rom 7:15-25) And through Jesus in Paul,in Chapter 8 he tells us through Jesus in him how! Doubt in self,comes from doubt in believing God's Word for our own flesh.For Jesus lives in us,we know we ourself cannot take the bondage away! But what is impossible to our Lord??( luke 1:37) The only thing impossible to God,is our belief in him!( Mark 6:4-6!!)
We first brothers and sisters must know why we stumble,before we can ever stop from stumbling! We must first learn this,before we can tell another they are stumbling! Hence why love is so important not just to us!! But also to the Body of Christ as a whole! Whether you like it or not, there is one fact!!You can pick your friends, but you are stuck with your relatives!!
The parts each of us has goes for something! We may not like the way our hand does something,but it is a part of us never the less.We have to deal with it!And that is the part most do not wish to do! But to grow, means to move forward.Smarter in Christ today,then we were yesterday!
Wiser in his will because we are always looking to seek his will! Greater in love towards others,because we know how much we ourselves need this as well! By doing this!! We grow! Some,as I myself was guilty of,wish to stay the same! I am really good enough right where I am Lord,I feel like I am accoutable for enough as it is!! I do not want anything more!!
It is tough to deal with where I am right now!! Ring any bells here saints?? lol ( 1 cor 13:11) was my answer from the Lord! LOL And the reason!!! Verse 12-13!!) Abide in!! Grow in,do not cease from doing in!! Stay in!! And to do this,we must learn more.
We just have to,we grow in body and age whether we like it or not!Well we have to grow in our Spirit man and woman as well! It is the law of both realms.Flesh and Spirit. You can do this!! because we are not doing this by ourself!!It take courage!It takes strength!( Deuteronomy 31:6,Hebrews 13:5-6!!) It is not our Jesus who has ever changed,it has been his people.( mal 3:6, Hebrews 13:8) The sooner we come to understand this for our own life,the sooner we can both help ourselves and others by that life!
And that is the purpose to serving! So that you can see a smile from someone Jesus in you has helped!! So you can hear, OH!!!! Praise God!!! For you!! So you can see,a life that was so dark,become so lite up in Christ!Just like your life has!! A city on a hill cannot be hid!Nor can the Light of Jesus which shines from both upon it,and in it!( Matt 5:14-16) You Brothers and sisters are that light!! Jesus wants YOU!!!! We say we want him,but how much of him do we truly want? I want him all Brothers and sisters!! Every part of My Jesus do I want!! FEED HIM!!!! Feed him with the Word of God!! Don't hid!! Let nothing stop you!! GO ALL!!!! the WAY in Jesus!! Yes they may call you crazy!! LOL But Bless God it is really a very cool kind of crazyness! It is LIFE!!!As Jesus himself is,and wants us all to be the very same!! Part 3 next time. Blessing all!!
