The Breeze

Think about this...

My Wife & I took our Granddaughter to Laguna Beach one Sunday. Picture sail boats passing, a fishing trolley followed by frantic seagulls, a kayak and a few brave surfers. Down the cliffs we embarked on a stairway to the little cove called Crescent Bay.

We see it framed by ancient lava flows that were cooled in the sea where its limits were once set. Pelicans pearched on rock formations resting in the spray from the crashing waves, safe from public nuiscance due to rough sea swells that wrap these tiny rocky islands poking from beneath the waves.

There is a continuous churning of splashes from the waves curling relentlessly toward the shore. A breeze that money can't buy from a peaceful ocean which covers one third of the planet.

For a time, sit in the warm sun facing that cool breeze and consider your Father's embrace, delivering an eternity of rest in the Joy of His love, forever caressing your soul. The sand beneath you bespeaks the myriad of His thoughts on your behalf, and yet we find the need to fret and worry...
