After saying "by their fruites you will recognise them," (Matthew 7:16) Jesus also went on to say in the following verses: "Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?' 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness." (Matthew 7:21-23)
Jesus identifies a crucial factor that determines who are false and true followers. It is not those that can perform many powerful works, just like the "Shows" Christain TV programs put on when claiming to heal people, which resent documentaries have shown many are just con men out to get your money. I could say, if these are not practising what they say, they are false, but the simple fact is, what some of these say and do seam to be from twisted scriptures. That is why you must always allow the bible to be your guide, not religious "showmanship". Put your trust in God's word the bible, not just what men say!
