The Bible confuses me

Sometimes i find i do not fully understand the teachings in my bible
I get confuesed by their meanings that is if i can understand there meanings in the first place
Does any one else have this trouble ?
Or any tips mabey about to understand it a bit better ?

As a new Christian, I would suggest staying within the New Testament for a while. After the 4 gospels, you get the Evangelistic outreach of the Early Church in the book of Acts......which continues today...it ongoing.....Amen.

Then you get the letters written to convey revealed 'doctrine' to the early churches. Paul was able to say "I have received from the LOrd......"

Praying for understanding

Hi Mounty,

This verse helped me a lot when I first started reading the Bible, James 1:5.
Ephesians 1:17 to 18 is a good prayer to pray too.

Try a different translation of the Bible or a paraphrase such as The Living Bible.
