"Thankful"
I'm so thankful for HIS Word,
I'm so thankful for HIS Love,
Thankful for HIS Blessings
That HE showers from above.
I see the beauty around me
That HE prepares each day;
HIS Promises, HIS Presence
As HE guides me on life's way.
The trees, the flowers, the breezes,
The cooling ocean sprays -
Just a few of the Blessings given
To enjoy day after day.
Each day HE shows HIS Mercy;
HE Protects, Loves, Provides
Our every need and even more;
HE walks close by our side.
Loving friends and loving creatures
Are there our lives to Bless;
They share their love and strength
And bring us happiness.
How can I cease to thank HIM
When I see day after day
HIS marvelous creation?
I can not help but Praise!
I give Thanks and Praise each morning
As I lift my heart to Pray;
My eyes shall feast on Blessings
HE's prepared for me this day.
"This is the day The LORD hath made,
Be glad and let's rejoice!"
Let's raise our hands to Heaven
With a happy thankful voice!
