Tears Of The Heart

There’s a thirteen year old girl siting in the corner of her bed
With the music on high her parents just think it for the loud
But was just loud enough to drown out the tears of the heart

Puberty is hard enough with the other girls and peer pressure
Trying to make the right decision and fitting in at the same time
Fear of being made fun of is enough to bring tears of the heart

There’s a mother in the back seat with her young son of a car pool
The brakes give way losing control looks like the last road traveled
As she covered her son in a mothers love, God heard tears of the heart

Witnesses's say dont know how the car didnt flip over
Like a hand of God reached out and stopped the car
But truth be told was wiping the tears of the heart away

two thousand years ago there was a man dying on a cross in between thieves
Who came down to earth hearing tears of the heart of His people through time
On that day shed some tears of the heart of His own feeling the sins of the world

The King of Kings hears every tear of the heart fall no matter how loud the music
The Lord of Lords feels every tear of the heart like their His own tears of the heart
When that inner peace is felt you know the Lord is wiping away the tears

Don’t let your heart be troubled for the peace of the Lord is with you
Tears of the heart may come an go but the Lord’s love is always there
Even if nobody else sees the tears of the heart the Lord wipes them away
