taking happy pills for my aloneness

hi sorry lol its me again.... i'm just seeking some comfort from someone somewhere, as i'm 37 this year and am moping around as i never thought i'd still be single and childless. at times it can feel depressing, lonely, and like i don't count. i'm taking happy pills at the moment and they stop me crying. i have had problems even making friends' at church, and at my classes... and i just feel ....unwanted! lol. thanks for prayers in advance.

You are missing the point of having Jesus into your life. With Jesus as the center of your life you can forget everything else in life. There are many scriptures telling us to cast our burdens up on the Lord.
Nehemiah 8.10 tells us to make the joy of the Lord our strength. When in prayer about these things or problems you have each morning kneel or pray however you do and lay it on the Lords shoulders then once everything that bothers you is presented to HIm put on the Joy and begin praising Him. [h=3]Also as here we are to Proverbs 3.5 Trust in the Lord with all yours heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.
[/h] [h=3]6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.[/h] If you sing joyful tunes to the Lord day and night you want have time to be depressed nor lonely. Although the devil will come at you with these issues, cling to Jesus. James says draw nigh to God and God will draw near to you. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. You tell those feelings to leave in the name of Jesus and start praising Jesus with sweet songs of love and joy the goodness of God will prevail in your life.
I have been single now for over thirty years was married for 3 years it was the best and the worst times in my life . But when I started focusing on Jesus 24-7 all the other feelings left.
I use to have to force myself to smile, there is a scripture that says; as looking into a mirror put on the lord Jesus every day 2 Cor 3.18 I would force a smile on my face saying to myself this is how the Lord would smile Ok I am puttin on the Lord Jesus. Romans 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh,
I'll close with this: Joy; make the Joy of the Lord your strength.

I too am single at the age of 42 and no children of my own so I know abit about how you are feeling. I too get to feeling down and lonely at times, but in those times I remind myself that God is all i'll ever need He is my savior, my best friend, my teacher, my husband, my daddy and He will always be there and never leave me alone...you are never truely alone nzdaughter God is always there with you and if it's His will in his perfect timing you will have that man He has designed for you and even then God will still always be there with you. Hang in there and know that you are loved so much more than you know by God Himself and by your friends, brothers and sisters here at Talk Jesus.

thank you so much for everyone's prayers and encouraging advice.... I took a turn into depression today, crying nonstop, didn't expect it at all. but I know God will get me through this aching feeling, I know it, I really appreciate all your prayers. love you all.....
