Supplements I take and why ?

Active
Although I prefer juicing which would be a later topic, I'll like to share the supplements I take.

cfod_a01-02_120cc_webhero_0.png

It contains organic ingredients no synthetic additives.
It's gentle on the stomach because it's from real food sources.

I take them on an empty stomach.

evwm_01-02_120cc_webhero.png

I do feel a difference in my health since I've started taking these. My food choices also play a role. I can't put junk in my body and expect these supplements to be beneficial. I started drinking more water , no soda, no coffee and reduced my diary intake unless it's organic. Drink only 100% fruit juices.

This book would have to be one of the many resources that forced me to take my health more seriously.

When it's time for a body cleanse I take this. Again the one thing that repeats in every product " organic ". We are natural beings therefore should only consume natural products. Cant afford organic find natural, but make sure there are no silicones or titanium dioxide.

Suppliments.

G'day rizen1,

I have always wondered about the effectiveness of nutrient suppliments. They are an enormous industry in the modern world.
I wonder if you keep the healthy diet and stop taking the suppliments if you would notice a difference. The nutrients we take into our bodies are always best when they come direct from food imo but I like your choice of organic herbal suppliments.

If you can find it, I recommend "The joy of living and how to attain it (1946)" by Dr Bernard Jensen (rip). The title sounds a bit new agey but it contains some very simplistic nutritional and fundamental physical fitness advice.

Stay healthy !

Thanks for sharing Rizen1. If only these products were not so expensive. I myself do know what a difference it makes to remove dairy, wheat and ,eggs from our diet unless they are organic.

Organic Food.

Organic Food

Organic food is a big industry that feeds off the uninformed and scam science. Any Science you see that claim Organic food is better for you is by those that produce organic food themselves, There have been no peer reviews that prove any claims...

Real science done on organic food has come up inconclusive. In other words, it's not any better for you than standard food. The non-use of herbicides, pesticides produce problems of their own that can't be regulated. Such as the production of Natural toxins.

Quote:
Because organic production steers clear of synthetic insecticides and herbicides, organic crops usually contend with more pests and weeds than conventional crops. This means the organic plants may produce more natural toxins.
"Plants can't get up and walk away. If they're being attacked, they've got to sit there and take it. So they may resort to their own chemical warfare," explains Carl Winter, director of the FoodSafe program and an extension food toxicologist at the University of California, Davis.
One "REAL" scientific study done proved that Organic food does contain 1/3 less pesticides than standard food. However, that is only the food produced under strict regulations by the U.S.D.A, and in the U.K. Organic "Labeled" Food from other countries can contain anything, even High levels of bacteria, and banned pesticides.

Even so, all standard food meets the guidelines for safe allowable chemicals, and in a 50 year study, constant use and trust in standard food has produced no clinical proved complications. Scare tatics and accusations not based on any science abound.

"There's really very limited information in people on actual health outcomes with consumption of these products," says David Klurfeld, PhD, chairman of the department of Nutrition and Food Science at Wayne State University in Detroit. "We don't know enough to say that one is better than the other."

Colon Cleansers, Body detoxification:
SCAM!!!

This is another "SCAM" industry. There is no science that has been peered reviewed that proves any of these products work, or are more safe and effective than just normal fiber in your diet.. In fact, many of these products have been found to contain herb extracts that are harmful to our bodies, with no science to back it up any claims. People are gullible.

Real science review!!!!
BEWARE of internet information on colon cleansing! You'll get the most accurate info on this subject from the peer reviewed journals, scientific data bases (such as medline), medical specialists and scientists. Here are a few examples from the literature:
American Journal of Gastroenterology: 100(1) 232-42. 2005, mueller-lissner, et al. "Myths and misconceptions about chronic constipation"
Real science review!!!!

The idea that putrefaction of the stools causes disease, i.e., intestinal autointoxication, originated with physicians in ancient Egypt. By the 1920s, the medical doctrine fell into disrepute as scientific advances failed to give support. However, the idea persists in the public mind."
European Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology. 24(4):196-8. 1997 "Colonic irrigation and the theory of autointoxication: a triumph of ignorance over science."

Buy a psyllium based product. These will be cheaper, and lots safer.

Antioxidants: V.S Vitamins:

There has been no evidence that Vitamin supplements have helped prevent any disease. There is evidence that if you do not eat properly then they can benefit, but most on the market only get half absorbed into the blood stream.
Antioxidants from fruits and veggies have shown to prevent disease and even cure or have curing effect.

REAL Science!!!
Published today in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, the study showed extracts from acai (ah-SAH’-ee) berries triggered a self-destruct response in up to 86 percent of leukemia cells tested, said Stephen Talcott, an assistant professor with UF’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences.
There are "REAL" products on the Market that have many peer reviewed journals to prove they work, and are effective. One product is Monavie which contains the most potent concentration of Acai Berry found on the planet. The company was also ranked number one in food and beverage with the I.N.C 500 and has many scientific journals backing their product.

This is a real company with Real results... but be advised....... They sell Fruit Juice that provides 13 servings of fruits and veggies per day serving, and one can obtain the same effect as eating properly...

Bottom Line:
If you want to stay healthy, stay away from bread, pasta's, and processed food... Stay away from artificial sweeteners (Poison to the body) All these pasta's, breads (Yes Whole wheat) turn to blood sugar once in the body... That produces insulin, and that stores fat. Keep far away from Sugar....

Eat fruits and veggies, wash them before eating, and exercise... at least 30 min a day..

Eating healthy does not have to cost a lot, as many scam companies would have you think...

The original post is not an infomercial or a debate on organic and pesticide foods. Just me kindly sharing the supplements I take and why. I already sense the tone have become a debate.

Brother Mike....Organic food is a big industry that feeds off the uninformed and scam science.

Based on the current rise of auto immune diseases and viruses that are present today it would be misleading for those who claim the current food that's on the market that have serious problems are in the same level as organic food. I find their claims misleading and I wonder what pharmaceutical company they work for. Drugs is always better than what is natural. Drugs are man made and what is natural is from God and science don't like God. I've been eating organic food for a few years now and there's a different in taste and look, compared to the genetically modified organism you call fruits and vegetables. So you're talking to a very informed consumer and health conscious person. Ever wonder why your fruits look shiny ? Well it's the wax that give it that beautiful glow. Organic is a big industry and thats why it's up to the consumer to stop being ignorant and read the labels. Not everything labeled organic is organic or what is natural is natural. The consumer is responsible for their purchase and their lack of knowledge is no ones fault but there own.

Again the Elite trying to monopolize or colonize an industry. I would trust other countries certifications..Why ? These are the very same countries they ( elite ) get their organic cotton. I guess these cotton pickers organic certifications are only good when they need to buy cheap cotton. These organic labeled foods that may contain bacteria and banned pesticides are they coming from the same slave plantations the elitist buy their goodies from at discount price. What this article you copied and pasted from is saying is not for us to buy it directly from these farmers but wait for the elite to import it, label it and then purchase it ? Again trying to control an industry by not allowing these slave plantation to dominate trade. I suggest you watch Banana Wars.

Even so, all standard food meets the guidelines for safe allowable chemicals, and in a 50 year study, constant use and trust in standard food has produced no clinical proved complications. Scare tatics and accusations not based on any science abound.

Really then why is it when a study was done with pregnant women they found pesticides and chemicals that were banned before they were even born. This alone shows us that these safe levels are so safe that it's being past down generation to generation through the mothers breast milk. I recommend you watch Homo Toxicus and open your eyes to the lies that you have been fed and believe in. Science are the inventors of these chemicals and have to protect their investment. Imagine the amount of lawsuits and panic that would arise in people, if they knew they are walking around with chemicals as old as their parents inside of them that are no longer being sold. Imagine the lawsuits, decrease in sales, the backlash the FDA ( biggest fraud ) would face and the Government who sat back and allowed it. " Allowable chemicals" ..what does that mean.?..why do we need chemicals in the first place? There's always an alternative. Mass production of food at any cost to the consumer.

Colon Cleansers, Body detoxification:
This is another "SCAM" industry. There is no science that has been peered reviewed that proves any of these products work, or are more safe and effective than just normal fiber in your diet.. In fact, many of these products have been found to contain herb extracts that are harmful to our bodies, with no science to back it up any claims. People are gullible.

Any thing can be copied and paste to prove a point, but it takes testing. I can find these same articles, reports and investigations but it takes personal testing for anyone to know the facts. It takes knowing your body it's functions and how it relates to your environment and stuff consumed. It takes trying different products and recording the end results. These so called herbs that are harmful should be listed instead of just being mention in a generalized statement, as a scare tactic to steer people away from buying natural products. A product being natural can still cause an allergic reaction, honey is beneficial and have healing properties but people are allergic. Should honey be banned or listed as harmful to our bodies ? No, because everyone's body is different , the amount of toxins, chemicals, pesticides and metals in our bodies vary in high or low levels. Therefore different reactions will be obtain when different people consume the same food or herb. It's misleading and dangerous to make make this kind of statement

In fact, many of these products have been found to contain herb extracts that are harmful to our bodies, with no science to back it up any claims

Especially when no herb was listed or product was listed. I would assume who did this study have a product list and herb list. These types of blind statements are used to put fear into the consumer, then by adding " not backed by science, " tells the consumer you do not have the independent thought capacity to think otherwise because science have the last word.

Real science review

Real science review

Again with the science, these are the same dudes that tell us we came from monkeys, volcanic magma and from the latest documentary I watch today " meteorites ". These are the same people who claim there's no God and have their science reports and reviews to back it up. Didn't Science discover a gay gene ? The are the same idiots behind the eugenics movement that resulted in mass sterilization of the feebleminded ( african americans(mostly),poor people and whoever labeled disabled ). We can thank eugenics reports and reveiws for bringing us the birth control pill and planned parenthood to further their population control and reduce government expenses. It can also be the seed planted that produced the racism and discrimination mentality that exist today.
So excuse my unbelief and trust for quote on quote " real science review " To many innocent blood have been shed, poor countries and poor people tested on in the name of science.

Brother Mike said...
Buy a psyllium based product. These will be cheaper, and lots safer.

For the constipated this might be the quick choice, but for me and many others who choose colon cleansers over laxatives it's about nutrition. If you need instant relief or suffer with constipation the laxatives are your best friend, but if you want a natural approach that allows the body to regulate itself then colon cleanse. Hence the reason a colon cleanse can be 1-2wks. If you have ever done a colon cleanse you would know the program discusses what to eat and what not to eat. It's no miracle formula or fast relief system as a laxative. It forces the person to eat differently for that 1-2wks and it's up to that person to continue the lifestyle or fall back to these old ways and just use laxatives for their constipation.

AntioxidantV.S Vitamins

There has been no evidence that Vitamin supplements have helped prevent any disease. There is evidence that if you do not eat properly then they can benefit, but most on the market only get half absorbed into the blood stream.
Antioxidants from fruits and veggies have shown to prevent disease and even cure or have curing effect.

This again goes to the misinformed hence the reason in the original post this statement was made.
I do feel a difference in my health since I've started taking these. My food choices also play a role. I can't put junk in my body and expect these supplements to be beneficial.
The topic of the original post is not about food replacement, again it's about someone sharing the supplements they take. There's nothing wrong with people taking supplements and living a healthy lifestyle. There's also a difference in whole food supplements and regular supplements.

There has been no evidence that Vitamin supplements have helped prevent any disease.
Again coping and pasting an article is one thing, but personal testing is another. When I had bronchitis ( from second hand smoke ) the antibiotics and the other mess they gave me made me sicker. I stopped and for maybe a few days I began taking a natural approach that had no side effects and was healed. Science would say I'm wrong but my body is the only evidence I need. I don't need flu vaccination because of what I put into my body. And these include supplements. Supplements is not a short cut to health, never been and it's not for the lazy at heart. The headline Antioxidant vs vitamins is also misleading and a standard sales pitch, to leave the impression on the uninformed that vitamins do not contain antioxidants when they do. The more appropriate title should be Raw food vs vitamins. Which I believe is the message the author is trying to deliver, but the shock factor and power words is the best marketing pitch and tool.

REAL Science!!!
There are "REAL" products on the Market that have many peer reviewed journals to prove they work, and are effective. One product is Monaviewhich contains the most potent concentration of Acai Berry found on the planet. The company was also ranked number one in food and beverage with the I.N.C 500 and has many scientific journals backing their product.

This company is a multi-level marketing business so there's no surprise there ads would say real science. I know marketing and these power words are used to get people to not question and just buy. It's a multi-level marketing company therefore reviews and success rate is based on sale rep get rich quick mentality and motivation. There eagerness to make that buck is there first priority over the quality of the product. The more websites set up the higher the google rank and exposure. These type of companies set up scam websites to mislead people into thinking a truth is being revealed about their product or Multi-level marketing system, when in reality it's a promotional blog or site linking you to the products. This tactic is taken to flood the net with false scam websites to over throw any site that is truly exposing the company. Now if you google scam and this company you'll surely see these deceiving sites. This now leaves the impression on the consumer that the real scam is that there is no scam. This type of marketing manipulation is key, and very important in preventing the consumer from doubting the product and not finding real sites exposing this product.

When I visited the site, I didn't use the link wasn't sure if it was a affiliate link or referral link and talkjesus should not be used for marketing any products or services. I wasn't shock that I had to search around for the ingredient list. Another market scheme talk about the benefits and key ingredients and leave the full list on another page. After searching 3 tabs I said to myself '' of course the full ingredients is not listed under facts''

I had to click on the Question and answers tab. What did I discover?
They don't disclose how much of the fruits are used in their products.

So the consumer is blind and unable to know the correct servings of each fruit.
Red Flag Even Naked juices tell you the amount of fruits you get in one bottle. Their orange juice 5 oranges, its on their labels. Naked is not losing any money from disclosing the amount of each fruit used in their juices. Instead they gain the trust of the consumer. Their claim of it being their secret asset is hogwash and another great marketing tool. The mystery and heavy protection tells the consumer no other product is like this. Manipulative marketing at best. No one is out to steal their recipe.

In the ingredient list I found " Natural flavor "
Red Flag
Now this is the biggest problem I have with the FDA. What constitutes as natural flavor ? Was it derived from natural chemicals or synthetic? What was the process of extraction ? What flavor is this natural flavor ? What is the source of this natural flavor ? Is it plant or animal ?

None of these questions are answered when manufacturers put this on their label " natural flavor ." With all these strong tasting fruits why would flavoring need to be added ? Is it that the percentage of these added fruits are so low that flavoring is needed to balance it out and bring that berry flavor to the top ?

Any company that would not put there full ingredient list on the first description page. Red Flag.

This is a real company with Real results... but be advised....... They sell Fruit Juice that provides 13 servings of fruits and veggies per day serving, and one can obtain the same effect as eating properly.

I don't trust the company therefore their product can not be trusted. It was Oprah who after talking about acai berry and it's benefits, that caused an explosion of acai berry products on the market. And as I expected Mona Vie do partake in deceiving consumers and it's no coincident this company was listed in Oprah and Dr. Oz ( my fav doc ) lawsuits for deception and misleading. The company itself may not be solely responsible but it also shows they have no control over their independent sale reps. They didn't care how the product is represented ones the sale is made. I'm sure things have greatly changed. Unfortunately the red flags are enough to deter me from buying.

I agree , all of this have been said and can be found on this site mentioned by others. It's something everyone knows and will agree upon, but it's always easier said than done.

Eating healthy does not have to cost a lot, as many scam companies would have you think...

No company will actually tell you the price up front especially if it's considerably higher than their competitors. Instead they would boost the item, get your interest and then hit you with the price. Mona vie juices can cost you over $30, hence the reason price is not stated on the site. Eating healthy will cost you more. If quality ingredients are being added, not watered down or flavors added it's going to reflect in price. The type of packaging play a role. Cheap plastic containers and bottles leak harmful chemicals in our food, so BPA free and PET bottles will cost the manufacturer more.

64 oz Welch juice cost $4.49
15.2 oz naked juice smoothie $2.99
15.2 oz Acai berry super juice smoothie $3.69
32 oz Naked juice $4.99

All 3 naked juices are less in quantity and cost more, but your paying for what's inside and that's the value of the product. I like naked juices it's not a water down juice and you can find it in stores without having to sign up and give personal information for companies to sell to other companies.

As I stated many times on this forum we no longer live according to how God intended, we no longer grow our own food and have to rely on these companies. Start your own garden find a local farmer and buy directly from him, attend farmer's market all these steps will reduce the cost of eating healthy. Its the only solution. You should also invest in a good juicer one that does not destroy the nutrients. Its going to cost but again you spend more on material things you don't need. With all the toxins and allowable chemicals being added we the consumer have no control. The only way to have control is growing your own food. You can get friends and family to order as a group from a local organic farmer and it will be a bargain. The more we support organic farming the cheap farmers and their chemicals will lose money and will be force to care about our health's and change their practices.
Cheap thing no good, and good thing no come cheap.

Thank you Risen1

Thank you rizen1!!!

I understand your defense of Organic food, and have done lots of research myself....

I pasted my articles from Actual studies done by Universities or other respected Medical journals.

Now if you ever Heard Brother Kenneth Copeland talk, you would hear him say that the Medical and Science community go out of their way to keep us on Unsafe drugs, and keep us going to the Doctor as it's big Business. I am sure He would agree with you, and I do love Brother Copeland.

I can supply more "Medical Science" to prove that Organic food, and Vitim supplements are no better than normal stuff we buy in the market.

However.......................................

There are also studies that tell us a Apple in 1950 had 3 times more health benefit than a apple today.

Science genetic manipulation of Produce has been geared toward making it larger, look better, be pest resistant, and stay fresh longer, with no regard to health content..... In other words..
Make it more marketable.............

Why I picked Monavie............

Monavie is a MLM company, and hence, your going to get a lot of people writing uninformed "SCAM" blogs on Monavie..

Multi level marketing is a method to distribute product, and Monavie choose this method because their product could not compete on the store shelves because of price.

Unlike many other products or MLM companies, Monavie has hundreds of peer reviewed journals such as the journal of sports science and medicine that prove Monavie is beneficial. You don't get number one on the prestigious I.N.C 500 and be a scam or have false claims.

"It was an elegant research design that allowed us to see if Monavie juice could really demonstrate any benefits," commented Alex Schauss. "We were surprised by the strength of the data whether we examined the data between subjects or in the same subject, as subjects didn't know what product would do what from week to week. That it worked so fast - by the first hour for the vast majority - was impressive in itself. This confirmed earlier studies we published with other co-authors including researchers at the University of California-Irvine School of Medicine, who showed that the freeze-dried acai (added to Monavie) acted as both a fast- and slow-antioxidant."

As a Christian, I would not want to steer anyone wrong... This is why I picked Monaive after doing research on claims of other so called super juices out there.... Nothing has touched Monavie in Peer reviewed science...

I also want to point out that many professional ball clubs uses Monavie out of thousands of other products out there for sports enhancement...
Houston rockets, Boston Red Sox, Anaheim Angels, all use and endorse Monavie....

Monavie's Product (200+ million in research) Imune uses WGP which they did not develop... or Wellmune. This has shown an awesome ability to prevent sickness, and even disease... There are many clinical test by respected University's, and other peer reviews applications to prove this works... All this before Monavie got involved with the licenses of this awesome discovery that boils down to "Bakers yeast"

No Juice on the store shelf can say that!!!!

Where are the ingredients??? Why hide it??

Monavie put the Acai berry on the map..... since then 100's of scams came out and everyone wanted to cash in on this "Super berry" Weight loss, disease cure, and anything else people would believe.

This caused a sales slump for Monavie because people simply did not trust the claims of the Acai berry, and Monavie did not help matters at the start.

Also Monavie's success has caused hundreds of other jump start MLM companies like Xango, and many scam ones to attempt to get a piece of the actions.. Monaive had broken every MLM sales recorded and has created more wealth for home business than any other company to date.. This is why they protect their millions of dollars in research and instead give their product to anyone wanting to do a peer review on it...

but for me.... the CEO of Monavie is a Christain "Dalan Larsons's" and he tithe's 10% back to the homeless in Brazil.... This has allowed the building of Churches, school's and has blessed thousands...

He also gives back 50% of all the money to distributors... that is billions..

I am sure those that Make Monavie or drink their product would agree with you on the "Organic" issue...

I want more science on it..

Jesus Is Lord.

I'm trying to understand what my original post have to do with your promotion of this product and this marketing company. The products I've listed do not put any money in my pockets. lol you've hijacked the thread and made it into a mova topic. It's wrong for you or anyone to denounce how God intended us to grow our food, which is without man made chemicals. There's no defense on organic, my problem is people who do not understand what the word organic means, it's purpose and why people see it as the new alternative. Do you know how much it cost farmers to go organic and what measures it takes, the fees they pay to get that organic seal ? It's not about being gullible or following after a trend. It's people saying I don't want chemicals added to my food, it's farmers saying the environment is more important than the mighty dollar. It's much bigger than you think, it's no debate or silly science reviews. It's people knowing what they want and going out and getting it.
The profit and commission is already added to the mova price, hence the reason it's expensive. What they do with there money is their business and with all the tax reduction they get from donating to charity, they have more than enough money to go around.
I'm never impress when rich people donate, now a poor man who takes his last $5 to buy food for another that's charity. People would money should give because they won't feel it.
That's the key to mlm its all the same different name, similar products. I know my fair share about these companies to not be persuaded, now if it was in stores I might buy, but when train network marketers who attend seminars and given booklets, instructing how to get people to join under them and make that sale...everything comes off as a rehearsed script and if I close my eyes I would think it's an avon sales person. No 2 people can have the exact same review of a products, as no 2 christian have the same views on the bible. People take from their own personal experiences.

note***Being a sponsor for a team, event, location and they (players) actually buying products personally with their money is 2 different things.

You didnt respond to anything I said instead continued with the promotion of this company. Please read forum rules about link posting and soliciting. You also seem not to notice the editing done on your post and removal of the links, videos and me asking if these links were approved.

What can I do to get my thread back, and allow members to respond ?

We can agree to disagree, but you can not promote this product any more on this site.

After reading your post Rizen I am taking a herbal liver & intestinal cleanse detox + anti-parisite.

My system has been sluggish during the winter months and maybe this will give it a boost.

Promotion

Hey Rizen1........

I am sure your pictures of "New Chapter" are not promotions, but to steer people into look for more healthy ways to live their lives...

I also stated that it's good to actually know what products we as Christians trust in...

I did not promote Monvie, I gain nothing by promoting Monavie....and I am not involved in Monavie right now....

What I did was research, compare numbers, find REAL peer reviews of healthy products, and Monavie beats them all..... That is what I did....

You can't prove different and being a INC 500 Company and number one at that speaks volumes about the quality, and Science behind the product..

For those wanting to compare, find the best, avoid all the SCAM ACAI garbage out there, then I provided links for people to check out themselves.... I gave real numbers, and Real peer reviewed science in case someone wanted something that is REAL

I have no interest in Monavie as a business, I am not crazy about the MLM business model, though it's legal and works... and even the products you posted don't hand them out for free...

Chad allowed me to post Monavie links in a ACAI thread he had... I did not take that as "Freedom" to post Monavie links when I so choose.. The Links I posted where not to any sign up page, or benefit me in at all.

I wanted something healthy for my own life, and Monavie Got my attention when they became a INC 500 company and ranked one in Juice and beverage... That got my attention and I started to research the product... I was also amazed that professional sports team's head science advisory boards did studies on Monavie and began to endorse the product. For that to happen the Product must work, and not connect the big business sports team to any false claims or scams....

I gave the name of a company that has proven itself, has the science to back it up, has never been afraid of any labs doing their own test on the product... That is what I believe my brothers and sisters in Christ need... a place to start, and sort out the junk science from the real.... Does it work, or not work.....??

I am not doing the monavie business, Even though I do like the product, I have not purchased any in over 6 months. I am not sure about Monavies claims on "Organic" and their reference to the Future of food group....I am sure Monavie would like us to also believe that Organic is better..

You gave the product "New Chapter" and you gave a book reference..... I have no issue with that, the only thing I gave is something that had actual science and numbers to back it up... with many peer reviewed science journals.... and Monavie does christian practices like tithing which I felt would be of interest in this setting..

I have no way to gain from Monavie, I don't do the business, I have not bought the product in a long time, and have nothing to gain. A PM would have been nice to question my intention....

God bless you Rizen1..... sorry for the misunderstanding..
Mike.

The title of the thread is exactly what the body of the thread contains, " Supplements I take and why ." You're responding to me and still naming the product. Every response you put the companies name, what am I to think ? You did not respond to any key elements I stated for discussion. I saw those links and that was then this is a new discussion hence me asking if permission was granted for ALL the links posted.

You're repeating the same promotional stuff and I'm not learning anything new. I gave my red flags to why I won't trust the company, I explained to you my thoughts of your science and how they are faulty. Hoping to take the conversation deeper to what it really is, this have nothing to do with M..ve, they are not the first company to say these things and they won't be the last. Maybe there is miscommunication because it seem the conversation always leads back to your product.

This is how I know people are not really having deep thought about their environment and the power they have with manufacturers and producers.

Did you watch any of the films I recommended before responding to me ?

I did my research on your product and your views, hence me not repeating myself, but finding new discussions. You mention that we should buy psyllium based product, I found warnings and articles about it's side effects did I post them ? no because it's not a tennis match or a battle of whose right or wrong. I want to challenge you as I'd hope you'd challenge me. You're not the first person to mention organic is a scam. My response to them is what is organic ?

What does organic mean to you ? And why do you think it's irrelevant ? In other words from your own understanding outside your science article.

You gave the product "New Chapter" and you gave a book reference..... I have no issue with that, the only thing I gave is something that had actual science and numbers to back it up... with many peer reviewed science journals.... and M..e does christian practices like tithing which I felt would be of interest in this setting..

You may have to read the post over, there was no book referencing any product. Again it goes back to the title of the thread and the context of the thread. I could find the research/studies to back up the benefits of each ingredient and the products, but that was not my intent. Now if I was promoting a product and saying this is the only one and the best one then your response would be appropriate. You keep repeating you gave something that had actual science and numbers to back it up, journals etc.

Did you research any of the products I listed before you responded ?
Do you know who Jordan Rubin is ?
Did you read the science, journals , reviews etc on these products before responding ?
Do you know why people choose organic ?
Do you know what wholefood means in supplements ?
Did you watch the films I stated before responding ?

I read all your responses and researched it, to understand what you're trying to express and gain knowledge. When I did this I was able to form an opinion not from myself but from my research. Science can say whatever they like for they are the inventors of the chemicals we choose not to have in our foods. This world is filled with science and discoveries yet the elite picks and chooses who is the truth. They neglect Africa, China, India and South American natives and their science and discoveries. They steal from countries and as Columbus did claim to discover something when it was never lost. Acai berry is not a new discovery it always existed and now I wonder if the natives still have access to it since this acai berry explosion, which probably ended with companies buying up land to have access to the fruit. I rather gain knowledge from natives, from people who have a history, who have culture, remedies past down to generations. These scientist have no culture hence their obsession with other people's countries and natural resources. Mov.. is made from fruit, you don't need science to back that up. If it's real fruit in it's natural God made state ( in other words chemical free ) then of course it's good. Is it the best on the market...that's misleading. If any company is using real food, no flavors or artificial ingredients then its good. A company needing science validate them.. I don't know. I'll make a deal when they tell me how many fruits in each bottle and if their natural flavor is plant, human, animal, chemical etc I'll try it.

A company being christian means nothing,TBN is christian and is the devil's playground of pimps and hustlers, I mean tithe collectors. If the owners of a company is christian meaning disciple and not just by label I would hope for transparency, not leaving the costumer to guess or trust their science and not think for themselves. Where is the logic in branding yourself on acai and not disclosing how much is actually in the product. Why must I take your word, when naked juices tells me how much of each fruit is in their juice giving me the power to choice, and not manipulating me to spend.
This christian company claims you get 13 serving of fruit, yet won't tell you how much fruit in one bottle. Why is that ? Let me take it further and quote someone from Juicescam website.

As recently as last September we have “monavieteam” saying: “At first his body might not react like it is suppose because no body are used to 13 fruits per day (4oz). But Id say try it for more than 1 week.. and from there you’ll have a better idea about all this.” (source).

This is a direct result of MonaVie saying: “Delivers the antioxidant capacity of approximately 13 servings of fruits and vegetables in just four ounces.” (source)

However, if you ask MonaVie’s Product Specialist Sarah Brown has gone on record as saying:

“By consuming four ounces, you receive the approximate ORAC equivalent of 5 to 13 servings of commonly eaten fruit and vegetables. Please understand this refers to the antioxidant value (ORAC) and not to specific vitamins, minerals or other nutrients your body needs. Different fruits and vegetables have different ORAC values. If you drink 4 ounces of MonaVie it could be comparable to eating 5 fruits or vegetables with high ORAC values or 13 with lower ORAC vales.”

(Source: MonaVie Archive Comment #472)

Note, you never see someone quote the 5 number in the range that MonaVie officially states. It’s always the top end of the range. It’s another case of MonaVie distributors obscuring information to make the product seem better than it is.

It’s important to note that antioxidant capacity in this case is measure in ORAC units. MonaVie is referring to the 5,000 ORAC units in 4oz of MonaVie (though MonaVie lies as their scientists show it has about half that amount). They’ve translated 5,000 ORAC units to some combination of 13 fruits (which combination of fruits this is unknown). According to the USDA, two grams of ground cinnamon (see “Total-ORAC, umol TE/100g, 267,536″ on page 28 of the PDF report) has more than the “antioxidant capacity of 13 fruits.” By this measure, the $1.99 bottle that I have in my spice rack has approximately 32 days worth of “antioxidant capacity”. A year’s worth would cost me around $24 instead of $2400 of MonaVie. Clearly MonaVie’s logic of using “antioxidant capacity” is flawed… or if you accept it, you’ll save your money and buy cinnamon.

MonaVie is negligent for not putting a disclaimer in there saying that drinking 4oz. of MonaVie is not equivalent to eating 13 fruits. This is a mistake we’ve seen a dozens of times before. (Here’s another example if you don’t believe me.)

The above article is intended to be accurate at the time of its original posting. MonaVie may change its pricing, product, or other policies at any time without notice.

A PM would have been nice to question my intention....

God bless you Rizen1..... sorry for the misunderstanding..

There's no misunderstanding or need to apologize. You were stating what you believe and standing by it. That's not a problem our only problem is missing the chance to get to the root and a better understanding of what organic is and why people choose it. When that is discovered all science reviews are irrelevant. There are juice scams and organic scams, but the root of the problem is the companies not the product. The manipulation and lies is the problem, its when a company uses key words or hot items to make their company look good. Pm.....you weren't doing anything wrong, just a bit repetitive with the company name and brand. I already know what you were talking about so naming it was a bit redundant and each response sounding like an infomericial more than a response, because you didn't acknowledge any of my key responses to you. The original thread was already lost and I was trying to respond to your new subtopic " .

Ok Sister... I certainly agree.... guess I went way out in left field..

get to the root and a better understanding of what organic is and why people choose it.

You were wanting roots, and I was climbing way up in the tree looking for branches....Got wrapped up in a bunch of stuff I have compared and looked at...

Certainly, Why would I want Organic?? Will it benefit me??

It takes education, and lots of research to confuse things.... even scriptures...

sorry about all this..

Rizen1, I appreciate for this topic. I plan to get some at my local Wholefood store. By checking New Chapter website I found out that Fish Oil also have good health benefits. I plan to get the Every Men supplement tommorow.

Thx and God is love, Abraham
