Let us look at the benefits of sickness. If you don't have chicken pox or mumps or the measles when you are little then you're going to end up with more serious problems with different types of sicknesses when you are older, I don't know if you knew that or not.

Did you know that those who survived the Black Plague, The Descendants of those who survive the black plague I should say have a greater immune system than anyone else on the planet.

In most cases of sickness, it's better that a person experiences it then not to build up your immune system as a child.

Aside from science about your immune system - there are great benefits to the world for those who care for the sick. As an example look at Mother Teresa of Calcutta and all the work that she did with the lepers and the sick in India.

Jesus healed the sick as well and if it were not for people being sick during the time of Jesus we would not experience all those Miracles that took place.

There is another kind of blessing that we receive from people who have different types of sicknesses for instance dowel syndrome. Look at how much love and compassion have been brought about by those who have dowel syndrome. There's actually a very long list of all the sicknesses that people have had over the years, and those who have taken care of them.

Do yourself a favor sometime And read the story of Jonah and the Whale. There's a lot of people that think that it's just a story, but I believe it really did happen. Because I've gotten to know God very well and God does the darndest things.

Something to take note on when you read the story of Jonah and the whale. At the very end of the reading there's a comment in there about the plant that grows up very large and shades Jonah's head. It reads and I quote "to shade his head and to soothe his ill humor".
