I stand bold in Christ and I cannot change
Call me a freak or call me insane
But when you see me tomorrow I'll still be the same
I'm not saying I'm perfect nor shall I ever be
But I depend on the spirit of Christ which lives inside me
So ignore, persecute and treat me with scorn
But I can not forget the day that I was reborn
Such hope came to me that I've never felt before
And I knew that I was changed from the outside to the core
Writing this encourages me when many times I've stood and stand alone. Growing up in a Christian home people a lot of times noticed a difference with me and my siblings and that made us outsiders. Even though I wasn’t really saved yet though I thought I was because I was doing all the things a Christian does. And later I realized what true salvation was and gave my life totally to him. But God has shown me that even when you feel like you're alone God is always there. He is a friend that you can always count on.
