One of the greatest indications of new-life living is a strong identity in following Jesus. You care more about what God wants than what people think. You will stand with Him and His people before you would ever think about boycotting God.
Transformation sometimes means doing something unnatural. It may not seem normal to identify yourself with a group that works toward a common goal that benefits someone who isn’t even a part of the group. It’s unnatural to identify with a group that will experience promised opposition.
The end of this point of transformation includes a message to those who try to stop you. In the end your obedience means “This will be a sign to them that they are going to be destroyed, but that you are going to be saved, even by God himself.” (Philippians 1:28 NLT). When God brings new life, it impacts more than your life.
Prayer: Dear God, I often think of new life as something that applies to me because I chose to follow You. It’s also something attractive to others because they see Your new life written in the living book of my life. Help me join with Your family in being courageous and unified in sharing new-life living.
