Spoiled America

Many Americans believe that we will never see persecution. We seem to live by the favor of man doctrine, that is taught in many churches around the nation. However, this is not a promise of God in the bible. Rather the Bible talks about men will hate us for our faith in Christ. Many warnings are given to us through of those that hate us.

There is no where in the Bible that states America is exempt of the wickedness of man. We do not see persecution yet as many of the other countries around the world. China, Eritrea, Germany, Russia, Turkey and the list goes on. Here in America we may not have friends and they may call us names but there are few deaths because of persecution here. There are a couple of incidents.



Persecution is a weak state of our church in America. We are costantly told of all this fluff love that man is going to favor us and be our sidekick. The weakness is in our church leaders who refuse to prepare their flocks for anything that may come. All these lies and false teachings for the sake of being popular. People are also taught that authority is always right no matter what. Many will not study out what they are taught week after week to know that it is the truth.

This is what the word of god states concerning real life with Christ and persecution.

LUKE 6:22- BLESSED ARE YOU, WHEN MEN HATE YOU, AND WHEN THEY SHALL SEPERATE YOU FROM THEIR COMPANY, AND SHALL REPROACH YOU AND CAST OUT YOUR NAME AS EVIL, FOR THE SON OF MANS SAKE.

Does this state that we will all face persecution. no it does not. However there are many scriptures that warn us of these things. Many will even be handed over to the persecuters by our brothers and sisters .

Matthew 10:21-22- AND THE BROTHER SHALL DELIVER UP BROTHER TO DEATH AND THE FATHER THE CHILD: AND THE CHILDREN SHALL RISE UP AGAINST THEIR PARENTS, AND CAUSE THEM TO BE PUT TO DEATH. AND YE SHALL BE HATED BY ALL MEN FOR MY NAME SAKE: HE THAT ENDURES TO THE END SHALL BE SAVED.

There are many other scriptures that back these things up. Jesus warns us of these things not to make us afraid but to give us strength. To warn us that we maybe ready and still know that he is lord. however man can take nothing from us no matter what they try to do to us. We are etrenally secure in Christ.

Jesus tells not to fear those that can destroy the body alone, rather fear he that has the power to destroy body and soul in hell fire. The more we endure for his sake the more he blesses us. None of the disciples lived without facing persecution. Jesus himself faced persecution and any that claim that they will never face it set themselves higher than the master.

Pastors that claim that God set them in the position they are in should know and have wisdom to teach there congregations of this. In order to prepare them and strengthen them. So that they know that they could face this and many will but we serve a God that is greater than all these things.

There are people on this email list that have seen the persecution of the church first hand. I hope and pray that they share how the Lord has used their experiance to give them strength and know that Christ is above all that man can do. It is coming to this nation very fast. Even now we see where the government has a hand in it.

Christ will never leave nor forsake us. I hope that all are blessed and those that have seen persecution first hand, i hope that you will in bulk to everyone on this list share your testimonies and the strength that Christ has given you through these things.

Sure.....the days ahead may prove traumatic in the realm of 'christian faith'

there are few deaths because of persecution here.

This could quickly change....as the threat of 'other faith' becomes more pertinent

Brother ushalk The truth is most christians understand exactly what you are saying ,but the problem is they have already closed their ears and eyes and have chosen to subtitute true Christianity with another gospel and and another Jesus.

Christians im afraid have knowingly replaced the fruits of the spirit with a counterfit substitutute called patriotism and Christian crusaderism.Chistians who were called to be a ligth in this dark place are contributing to this present darkness,because they refuse to die to self and are afraid because everything they posses and love is staked on this temporal decaying earth.You are rigth we are spoiled and in need of shamefacedness,we ought to rend our hearts and not our garments.

We need a revolution inside our church.we need to tear down all of our pet traditions and once again set our feet on the solid foundation which is Christ alone.

No more agreeing with the enemies of the cross for the sake of preserving our selfish quality of life.

Let go and let God.

May the Lord cause a shaking in his house and bring genuine revival Amen.

brother, this is aad and hurts my spirit but at the same time i am rejoicing that there are more that see this. you are right. christians have decided to look at everything accept the true word of god. often neglecting christ for their own selfish ambitions.
