In Matthew 5:18 we read; “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. We know for a fact that heaven and earth has not passed away just yet, so what is Jesus saying here?

Many claim the law is made void by grace and faith, and totally done away with; but Jesus tells us different above. Even Paul said in Romans 3:31; “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Paul also said in Romans 8:4 that the righteousness of the law would be "fulfilled" in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Notice in the above Jesus said that all the law would be "fulfilled." Meaning the law is also prophetic. Just as Jesus said in Matthew 11:13 that all the prophets and "the law prophesied" all the way up till John the Baptist.

This thread is not a debate over whether or not we are saved by our own works of law; because I know of a Truth we are saved by Grace through faith. But the main point of this thread is to show others that there are actually 2 laws at work; one which is natural or carnal, the other which is spiritual. How one "sees" them is determined by 2 separate mindsets; one which is carnally minded, and the other which is spiritually minded. The flesh of the law ( or carnal ordinances) was fulfilled for us and nailed to the cross in Jesus’ body, in His own flesh. But "the Spirit" of the law remains and is "established" in those who are born again of God’s Spirit. Just as it is written in Hebrews 10:9; “Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He takes away the first, that he may establish the second.”

I have written several posts in the past about this natural law, and the "spiritual law" (which shall be "fulfilled" before heaven and earth pass) but very few truly understand what it is I am saying, as I know it is hard to grasp.

So instead of trying to explain to you what I mean by natural law (outward ordinances) and "spiritual law" (or prophecy ) I will just give you a few examples we are already given in scripture. I will give the carnal commandment first (natural law), and then I’ll give the spiritual law (prophecy) and the fulfillment of it, as it is also revealed to us in scripture.

In Hebrews 10:1 we are told; the law was a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of those things. In this we see the natural (letter of the law) was given as a sign, or shadow, and many of the carnal ordinances were just a reflection of the true "spiritual" imagery to come; which would also be "fulfilled" as Jesus said. Just as the Lord also told the children of Israel that many of the commandments, statutes, and judgments would be for a "sign" between the Lord and them.

Deuteronomy 6:8; “And thou shalt bind them for a "sign" upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.” And even the Sabbaths were given as a "sign" as seen here in Ezekiel 20:12; “Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a "sign" between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.”
With that in mind let me try to show you what I mean by the natural law being transformed into the "spiritual law" of prophecy, or viewed "spiritually" as prophecy.

The first "sign" we will look at is the sign of the Covenant God made with Abraham and to his seed,
which as the Lord also told Abraham would be a token (sign) in his flesh by way of the outward circumcision. Genesis 17:10; “This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.” And then we see "the sign" also confirmed here in Romans 4:11; “And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:”

And now here we see the true spiritual meaning of that natural "sign" being fulfilled in us spiritually. Romans 2:29; “But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.”

So we see the commandment was first received outwardly as a "sign", only later to be understood and fulfilled spiritually, and received inwardly by the seal of the Spirit. Just as it is written in 2 Corinthians 3:3; “Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Here’s another example most already know, but it speaks of the same, and of how the natural (letter of the law) was just a reflection of the greater glory to come spiritually. Exodus 12:21; “Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.”

And then the spiritual fulfillment in the Lamb of God 1 Corinthians 5:7; “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:”

And again the carnal commandment in the feast of unleavened bread Exodus 13:3;“And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.”

And then the spiritual fulfillment in Matthew 16:6; “Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. Matthew 16:11; “How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Matthew 16:12; “Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.”

And again the carnal commandment in the first ripe of the first fruits of the harvest, first seen in the natural law in Exodus 23:19; “The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God…”

And then the spiritual fulfillment of the law in 1 Corinthians 15:20; “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. James 1:18; “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”

And again first the carnal commandment in Leviticus 23:15; “And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths
shall be complete: Leviticus 23:16; “Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.”

And then the spiritual fulfillment of the natural law at Pentecost (50 days) Acts 2:1; “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.”

And again the carnal command in the "new meat" offering (=Gentiles) Numbers 28:26;“Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:”

And then the spiritual "new meat" offering revealed to us by Paul in Romans 15:16; “That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that "the offering up of the Gentiles" might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.”

So by those few examples we see by scripture that the carnal commandment (letter of the law) was just a shadow of the greater glory to later be revealed, and fulfilled in a new spiritual way. But make no mistake, all of that hidden spiritual law has not yet been "fulfilled", and will not all be fulfilled until the first heaven and earth pass away as Jesus said. And with that understanding, perhaps one would even look at the old natural law in a new and spiritual way by the Holy Spirit and mind of Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:7-8; “ But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?”

It is the veil of the flesh and the carnal mind that keeps a man from seeing the true "spiritual law" of God. Romans 7:14; “For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.”

The enmity between the mind of the flesh and the mind of the Spirit must first be abolished in order to see and hear what the Spirit is saying in the natural law.

Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;” Hebrews 9:10 “Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.” But even those carnal ordinances that were to be removed symbolized other spiritual things.

For the carnal mind only sees with the eyes of flesh (outwardly by appearance) but the mind of the Spirit searches the deep things of God and sees with the mind of Christ. So do not judge the natural law by outward appearances, but search the hidden treasures in it by the mind of the Spirit.

John 7:24 “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”
Peace and God bless

The pattern and design of the Tabernacle God told Moses to design was just a shadow of “spiritual things” to come. Just as the law would also foreshadow and prophesy of the “spiritual things” to come in Christ.

Take for example the mercy seat ….

Exodus 25:21
And thou shalt put the mercy seat “above” upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.”

Notice the mercy seat, where God said He would meet and commune with Moses, was “above” the law and commandments contained in the Ark.

Exodus 30:6
And thou shalt put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is “over”the testimony, where I will meet with thee.”

I believe this is a foreshadowing of what God said here….

Hosea 6:6
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Matthew 9:13
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not one to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Matthew 12:7
But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

Psalm 40:6-7

6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

Hebrews 10:5
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Hebrews 10:6
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Hebrews 10:8-9

8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.”

So to me the Holy Spirit was “symbolizing”by that small sign of the mercy seat being “above” the law, that God ‘s mercy is what was required, even “above” the works and sacrifices contained in the law of Moses.

In the law God gave us a shadow of things to come by using natural things to symbolize spiritual truths to be revealed later by His Spirit. God told Moses to make garments for those who were to minister in the priesthood. God said These garments were to be holy garments for glory and for beauty. God also said these garments were to cover the priests nakedness, so that they bear not their iniquity and die.

Exodus 28:2
And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.

Exodus 29:29
And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.

These holy garments were to cover their “nakedness” ( nakedness represents sin)

Exodus 28:42
And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover “their nakedness;”from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:

Revelation 3:18
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the “shame of thy nakedness” do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

The white garments represent the Righteousness of God imputed to his saints.

Psalm 132:9
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

Job 29:14
I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.

Isaiah 61:10
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Revelation 19:8
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

1 Samuel 2:35; “And I will raise me up a "faithful priest", that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him "a sure house"; and he shall walk before "mine anointed" for ever.”

Who is this "faithful priest," and who are "God's anointed?"

Hebrews 6:20 ; “Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an "high priest" for ever after the order of Melchisedec.”

Hebrews 8:1-6;”Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an "high priest", who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of "the true tabernacle", which "the Lord pitched", and not man.3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.4 For if he were on earth, "he should not be a priest", seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:5 "Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things", as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to "the pattern" showed to thee in the mount.6 But now hath he obtained a "more excellent ministry", by how much also he is the mediator of a "better covenant", which was established upon "better promises.”

So if the earthly tabernacle and priesthood was only to serve "as an example and shadow" of the greater High Priest to come in Jesus Christ, which also after the "similitude" of Aaron; then like Aaron and his sons, the "sons of God" must also be the Lords "anointed priesthood" as well. Let's explore.

First let’s look at the "similitude" given in the earthly priesthood through Aaron and his sons…

Exodus 30:30; “And thou shalt "anoint Aaron and his sons", and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.” What were they "anointed" with?

Exodus 30:25; “And thou shalt make it an "oil of holy ointment", an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an "holy anointing oil.

Exodus 29:7; “Then shalt thou take the "anointing oil", and pour it upon his head, and "anoint him.

So what does the Holy anointing oil "represent" in Jesus Christ (our High Priest) and his sons?

It is written in both Psalm 45:7 and in Hebrews 1:9 "Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity, therefore God, even thy God, hath "anointed thee" with the "oil of gladness" above thy fellows"

So what does the oil represent...

Luke 4:18; “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me," because he hath "anointed me" to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,”

And the same "anointing" is shown in His sons….

Romans 8:14; “For as many as are led by "the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God".
Galatians 4:6; “And because "ye are sons", God hath sent forth "the Spirit of his Son into your hearts", crying, Abba, Father.”

So we who are "anointed of His Spirit", are also the "sons of God", and are a "holy priesthood" after the Lords own heart.

2 Corinthians 1:21; “Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath "anointed us", is God;”

So who appoints and anoints God’s priesthood? Is it men, or is it God?

John 1:12-13 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, "but of God."

2 Corinthians 3:5-6 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.”

And if Jesus Christ is our High Priest King who offers gifts to men, then where do those gifts of the Spirit come from? Of men, or of Christ? Ephesians 4:8 “Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, "and gave gifts unto men.”

So there is no boasting of self, but it is God who appoints, anoints, and gives gifts to men by Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:5 "Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a "spiritual house," an "holy priesthood", to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."

1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a "chosen" generation, a "royal priesthood", an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;”

God said He would build for His King Priest Jesus Christ "a sure house", (a spiritual house) and God said in Exodus 19:6 His chosen people shall be unto Him "a kingdom of priests" and a holy nation, as Peter repeated above, also referring to the Gentiles "which in times past were not a people."

This truth is confirmed in Revelation 5:9-10 "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood "out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;" And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."

Praise be to the Lord our God, and to His High Priest King Jesus Christ.

Exodus 24:8
And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.

Exodus 29:21
And thou shalt take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkleit upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

Hebrews 9:11-24

King James Version

11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:”

Ephesians 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

1 Peter 1:2
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Exodus 29:4
And Aaron and his sons thou shalt bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shalt wash them with water.

Exodus 30:20
When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the Lord:

Exodus 40:12
And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

Leviticus 8:6
And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

Ephesians 5:26

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Hebrews 10:22

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

John 15:3

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

It has all been fulfilled through Jesus Christ.

Jesus said he came to fulfill and that is what he did.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

So if you say not all is fulfilled then you are saying Jesus didn't accomplish what he came to do and said he did.

Jesus said to them, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled" (Luke 24:44). He said, "For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me" (John 5:46).

Luke 22:37 It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment."

John 4:34 "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

John 17:4 I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.

John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ should suffer,He has thus fulfilled (Acts 3:18).

You say all has not been fulfilled but the scriptures say Jesus has fulfilled.

The works of the law were the purification works the people used to have to do to be a child of God's, to be righteous and sanctified and justified before God, they were just a teaching tool and shadow of Jesus, but Jesus came and when he came he fulfilled everything and does the purification works for us now, just by our faith that he does.
We still have to obey Jesus, we just don't have to get circumcised anymore and do all the other purification works of the law.

Pork is reminiscent of people, as are other animals. The old law is a teaching tool.
Now through Jesus' blood, all people are made clean, and all food.
Dogs are people who should have known the Father and obeyed Him. The people who were pigs were the people who had no idea who the Father is and enjoyed their sin.
All people can come to Jesus by faith in his shed blood on the cross washing away the sins they repent of doing and promising to die to the sins of the world and live to please Him.

The people used to have to adhere to a dietary law and a special way of preparing food. Jesus is our special diet now, he is the bread and the flesh we eat. We eat of him by obeying him.

All the land spoken of in the Bible is fulfilled through Jesus because the heavenly country is what matters and not the earthly land. Through Jesus we can enter the heavenly country.

All the talk about dressing a certain way and instructions to men and women on their hair and clothing were just a shadow of Jesus. Of course we are to be modest and respectful in the way we dress, but we are now to clothe ourselves with Christ, which means to obey Jesus.

We no longer have to go to an earthly temple but that Jesus is the temple and we live in him and we also become the temple as he lives in us by our obeying him.

We no longer have to go to priests for we become priests and Jesus is the high priest.

All the special days are about Jesus and now it is worthless towards salvation to observe special days, for now we observe Jesus all day every day.

The various external washings were symbolic of Jesus.
Jesus came and we are washed by faith and obedience to his teachings.

There used to have to be animal sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins, but Jesus is the Sacrificial Lamb of God whose blood was shed on the cross once and for all.

We no longer have to get circumcised in the flesh as the sign and seal, for Jesus giving us his Spirit to live in our heart is what circumcises us now and is evident by our obeying him.

Jesus said "It is finished". The ransom has been paid.

The Old Covenant was the Jews effort in obtaining salvation and in following God on earth, but they had failed. Now it is God's turn. He will perform the New Covenant and all He asks from us is to believe in Him Whom He has sent for all things; not just for salvation that we are saved for simply believing in Him, but for following Him by believing Him to be the Good Sehphgerd that He is as we live this reconciled relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ.

John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

So what are we to do when His commandments are higher than the works of the law? Instead of looking to ourselves in doing the best we can in keeping a commitment to follow Him or any promises to God to perform, we turn to Him and rely on Him all the time for all things in helping us to follow Him for why it is simply written that the just shall live by faith.... in Him and His New Covenant to us.

So ask Jesus to set you free from all man made yokes of bondages and rest in His New Covenant to you that He will finish His work in moving us unto perfection to His glory which is also what we shall be praising Him for in Heaven too.

1 Corinthians 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;
22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's;
23 And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

1 Corinthians 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

You say things that are just not right, like---
The Old Covenant was the Jews effort in obtaining salvation and in following God on earth, but they had failed. Now it is God's turn.
What you say is just not right, for the Old Covenant was not just the Jews effort, IT WAS THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD through Moses.
We have to believe that we have to obey Jesus.
John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
Again, we have to believe that we have to obey Jesus.
The Jews used to only know of God the Father, but now a man comes along and says he is the son of God and to believe in me, Jesus.
To believe in Jesus doesn't mean just believe and don't do anything else!

NO WAY!

Jesus says to not even lust in your heart and to hate and have anger towards your siblings.

WE CAN OBEY THAT!!!!

So ask Jesus to set you free from all man made yokes of bondages and rest in His New Covenant to you that He will finish His work in moving us unto perfection to His glory which is also what we shall be praising Him for in Heaven too.
What on earth are you talking about?!!!

It isn't man made yokes that Moses taught!

You are speaking mumbo jumbo from teachers who didn't have understanding.

Jesus says he has a yoke!

Think about that some more too.

Jesus has a yoke is proof that we have to obey Jesus.

@GodB4Us

The Jews DID RIGHT by obeying the commandments that God gave Moses.

However, when Jesus came, many of the Jews did not want to stop doing the commandments OF GOD through Moses.

SOME of the Jews wanted to keep the works that Moses said to do and they didn't believe that Jesus is going to do those works now.

IT MATTERS THE WAY YOU SAY AND IT MATTERS THAT YOU TEACH WRONG and even a little off is still off.

The whole Old Testament was about Jesus, not yet know until the New Testament.

All the prophets what they said and what they went through and even their names were about Jesus.

Everything that happened was a teaching tool and shadow of Jesus.

The Passover, bronze snake in the desert, the crossing to the Jordan...everything.

Not “all” the law and prophets has been fulfilled. Pay attention to the OP…….

In Matthew 5:18 we read; “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till “all be fulfilled.”

I am showing types and shadows in this thread, not here to argue about what has, or has not been fulfilled.

@StewardoftheMystery

Again from the OP……

This thread is not a debate over whether or not we are saved by our own works of law; because I know of a Truth we are saved by Grace through faith. But the main point of this thread is to show others that there are actually 2 laws at work; one which is natural or carnal, the other which is spiritual. How one "sees" them is determined by 2 separate mindsets; one which is carnally minded, and the other which is spiritually minded.”

I am not going to argue with those who have no idea what it is I am talking about. I am simply showing “types and shadows” that are in the law.

More Types and shadows of spiritual things.

You say things that are just not right, like---

What you say is just not right, for the Old Covenant was not just the Jews effort, IT WAS THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD through Moses.
Moses being of the Jew.....
We have to believe that we have to obey Jesus.
We have to believe that Jesus will help us to abide in Him & to follow Him since that is what a Good Shepherd does. Do you trust Him to do His job and His work in you to follow Him by faith or not?
Again, we have to believe that we have to obey Jesus.
The Jews used to only know of God the Father, but now a man comes along and says he is the son of God and to believe in me, Jesus.
To believe in Jesus doesn't mean just believe and don't do anything else!
It is about HOW we can follow Him; you either look to yourself to do the best you can to follow Him by keeping that commitment OR you look to Him to elp you to folow Him all the time for we can do nothing without Him.
NO WAY!

Jesus says to not even lust in your heart and to hate and have anger towards your siblings.

WE CAN OBEY THAT!!!!
And what happens when you do? Give up. Throw in the towel? Or ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus for help to lead you away from temptations & even resist temptations so you will not do that again? What do you do?
What on earth are you talking about?!!!

It isn't man made yokes that Moses taught!
In according to His words, when a man makes a vow, it is his bond that he must do ALL that proceeds out of his mouth. God cannot help him keep that vow. Numbers 30:2 That is why Jesus warned against it because we are to be the works of His hands per His New Covenant.
You are speaking mumbo jumbo from teachers who didn't have understanding.
His words, not mine.
Jesus says he has a yoke!
His yoke is easy & His burden is light and by learning of Him is how we obtain it becase we are resting in Him to do it as it is His yoke that is upon us as it is His work that He shall finish to His glory.
Think about that some more too.

Jesus has a yoke is proof that we have to obey Jesus.
You need to ask Jesus about how His yoke is easy and His burden is light for how and when we find rests for our souls.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Did you read His words and applied it accordingly? prove it by telling me how you apply it rather than going to your mantra about obeying Jesus as if by the religious flesh and will power of mankind

Not “all” the law and prophets has been fulfilled. Pay attention to the OP…….

Best apply His words to what He is talking about rather than for pundit points for your theological viewpoint & understanding.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus fulfilled the law so that all who believe in Him are saved, BUT there are 2 kinds of inheritance; the first fruits and they that be Christ's at His coming as the King of kings; akin to the elder son to the prodigal son; akin to Jacob to Esau.

That is why there are vessels unto honor in His House, vessels of gold & silver that looked to Him to depart from all iniquity and be willing to go when the Bridegroom had come.

That is why at the rapture event, not every saint will be ready as they are left behind to die but their spirits will be with the Lord in Heaven to await their resurrection and thus their inheritance as vessels unto dishonor in His House, vessels of wood & earth, to serve the King of kings on earth.

So those who get left behind are the refuse.... gone to Gehenna on earth, but still His as He will finish His work even in those saints and former believers left behind. These be called the least in the kingdom of heaven per Matthew 5:19 because Jesus had saved them thus having fulfilled the law in Matthew 5:18. May God cause the increase for I know I cannot.

Maybe both of you should first try to find out what it is I’m talking about before both of you try to build a “straw man arguement” in order to tear down your own straw man.

And last I checked, Heaven and earth has not yet passed away.

Matthew 5:18
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

You underlined "Till " and yet Jesus said it will all be fulfilled before that time.

Till means “until” heaven and earth pass away. Has heaven and earth passed away? No. So not one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from THE LAW, UNTIL ALL BE FULFILLED!

Matthew 5:18
For verily I say unto you, Until heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, until ALL be fulfilled.
