Jesus said, "Whoever says to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea", and does not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore; I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Mark 11:23-24.
Jesus wasn't talking about relocating any physical mountains, He was referring to the problems we face in life. Notice in this passage, Jesus speaks only once about our need for "faith" and three times about our need to "speak His Word." I believe this is because if we don't have enough faith to move our mouths to speak God's Word, we won't have enough faith to move our mountains.
Is there a mountain in your life that needs to be removed? A mountain in our life is a form of death that wants to take us out so we won't fulfill our destiny. A mountain could be negative emotions, a physical illness, anger, alcoholism, drugs, food, etc. First you have to admit you have a mountain. Then, if you really want this mountain to be removed and cast into the sea, place your hand over your heart and say, I renounce this mountain of death ( ), and I release the spirit of life into my body. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Father, Your Word tells us to speak to our mountains, just as Jesus did, to move them out of our lives. May we believe in our hearts that whatever things we ask when we pray, we will receive them and have them. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
