Yes, I have had my dark night. I thought I was through it a few years ago, only to realized it had only started. I’m coming out of the end of it, and morning starting to dawn. It has lasted about 8 years now. The old ways, old thinking, old emotions, old life, died. The “me” that I was. Also known as my ego. I gained a new heart, a new mind. New understandings. A new way of “being”. A new Identity! No longer a human, but Spirit living a human life.
Which has brought my flesh back to life, and also brings life to those around me. Lifts them up. Makes them smile. Give them new hope. A renewed sense of Life, and the awareness to its fullness

But this is not a “scourge” by the Father. Nor is it a “whipping” by your “master”. This is the mindset, of generations that have come before, through many cultures; even recently……And is not What out God does. Just how it’s been understood from such a low, carnal mindset for soooooo long….. It’s time to heal such a past, for all involved. For ‘this’ relationship, is not like anything on Earth. And truly hard to find a sense of comparison. Closest you can come, is Family. How it’s meant to be!

To go through the dark night, is to face your own “sin”. The “darkness” within yourself; The release/purging/cleansing of all the “darkness” within you. Also know as “sanctification” or being made Holy. For you reap what you have sown. Nothing is hid, and all is revealed!

I have not experience audible visions, but I have had many profound understandings come to me, kinda like a type of “download”, or the “veil being lifted”….that have left me in tears. From the deceptions. To the amount of people involved in both sides. To the amount of time, and the point we are at. To the immense pain at the amount who profess that name, and know not what they speak. And To the immense vastness and beauty that is contained therein. Unspeakable!!!!

As I said before. We are each given a piece to share with the whole. Truly making us all One, by many!

from what i understand, you are familiar with Koine Greek? How do we understand this word in the sentence and context of what we read, please?

I think i understand what you have tried to express in your posts but i also understand what fellow Member @Luminary has tried to express.

a study on this word and it's root(s) and connections is really quite interesting when we keep in mind the idea of the verse we are looking at.

Also interesting that in Hebrews 12:28 we have 'reverence' and (godly) fear but the word used for 'fear' is not the same word... the word used for 'reverence' is the same one used in the passage you supplied. εὐλαβείας

May i suggest it is/was more a 'glorifying God and acknowledgement of His will shall be done, because of His glory', rather than a fear for God or what was going to happen. A big difference, yes?

Everyone experiences their Dark nights differently. I haven’t read books on it, but I can relate to what a lot speak. Though mine didn’t get as visual. Dante had his 7layers of Hell, my sister seems to think that the devil has ahold of her, and that she is “pinging” his frequencies and no way to get out of it. I’ve heard another tell me, that his was like being in a desolate land, dark, soul howling like the wind, houses with bars on the windows and on fire, yet no heat or light coming from them…..there are many who experience a hell, most real to them. Yet they do not understand what it is that happening to them. My sister says the same as you….”I’m the only one like this”,”No one else has experienced it like this before”….

And she is right! Because she is her. And you are you. And we each carry our own hell, some worse than others. Experienced differently in every way…. Yet it all comes back the same. A personal hell. With demons, devils, hounds, lost souls…ect….not realizing, like a dream, it manifests in real life, like a wakeful dream…..

The mind is a Powerful thing!!!!

Sure Faith and Hope can get lost. And those who hold on to Jesus through it, do indeed have an anchor that keeps them firmly planted.
And indeed time differs for everyone. It must be worked through.

There are more and more who are going through this process. It’s part of waking up to our true nature. Truly a facing of ourself and our pasts’.

This has been an ongoing issue between the Communist and the Nationalist since 1949. Unless Taiwan feels threatened/squeezed by China militarily/economically I don't see them doing anything to generate a war that could bring other Nations into a conflict with China and more than likely destroy their Island. However, it's not just the US, but other Pacific Nations that would be concerned and might act on the side of Taiwan as well.

President Biden's poor choice of Words, is first not surprising, being the old man that he is, and his Administration (those pulling his strings) have already walked back his comments. I don't see this as an issue, unless China pushes Taiwan to an act of aggression.

Wars & Rumors of War. I believe this to fall under the Rumor category or as it says in Luke "commotions".

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for [such things] must needs be; but the end [shall] not [be] yet. Mark 13:7 KJV

I was USMC from 2006 to 11, as is my youngest brother currently and my other brother left the navy in 2014.

Without hinting at classified information of which i personally know very little.. the USA sends special ops teams into countries.. at the rate of about 100-300 operations a year.

Last number I heard which is pretty solid, was that within the first 5 months of 2018 iirc.. we had already sent special ops teams into over 100 countries. and i don't mean spies, i mean kill the target and leave quickly.

A typical amphibious operation is that you launch your special ops team from a submarine via various methods.. they land on a beach, change out of their wet suits.. bury them, assault the target.. escape back to the beach, dig up the wet suits.. swim out into the ocean, and get picked up again.
its a 4 day long operation and no you do not sleep for those 96 hours. not sure why it is typically 4 days but that is probably the sweet spot where non illegal stimulants can keep you awake that long without killing you, while maximizing the amount of time you have to memorize all the details you need to successfully kill the target without getting caught and then stay awake long enough to report to your senior officers what exactly happened and what went wrong.

i did actually consider signing up for MARSOC in 2009 but had a general gut feeling that i wasn't up for it.... probably a good thing.
my brother's testimony of the navy seals seems to match what i heard in the usmc through other channels.

I was USMC from 2006 to 11, as is my youngest brother currently and my other brother left the navy in 2014.

Without hinting at classified information of which i personally know very little.. the USA sends special ops teams into countries.. at the rate of about 100-300 operations a year.

Last number I heard which is pretty solid, was that within the first 5 months of 2018 iirc.. we had already sent special ops teams into over 100 countries. and i don't mean spies, i mean kill the target and leave quickly.

A typical amphibious operation is that you launch your special ops team from a submarine via various methods.. they land on a beach, change out of their wet suits.. bury them, assault the target.. escape back to the beach, dig up the wet suits.. swim out into the ocean, and get picked up again.
its a 4 day long operation and no you do not sleep for those 96 hours. not sure why it is typically 4 days but that is probably the sweet spot where non illegal stimulants can keep you awake that long without killing you, while maximizing the amount of time you have to memorize all the details you need to successfully kill the target without getting caught and then stay awake long enough to report to your senior officers what exactly happened and what went wrong.

i did actually consider signing up for MARSOC in 2009 but had a general gut feeling that i wasn't up for it.... probably a good thing.

“The Dark Night of The Soul”. GOD the FATHER is The One who Leads you. So many pastors and teachers book writers, Doctors, Psychiatrist, everybody making money . And explaining it. I do not think so.

This place is real! Just like, Example: Jesus is 100% Man, & 100% GOD at the same time.
Meaning, His Humanity is on site, but His Deity is Everywhere. And at the same time.

No Matter What Happens I Don’t Care, Houses lands, Sons, Daughters, Mother, Father I TRUST HIM!

When you go through “The Dark Night Of The SOUl”. You can not Pray GOD has Stop your praying But you can read that Bible and you will not climb through the window in that Book. In The Dark You Can Hear The Voice of Your FATHER, Teaching you HIS Voice, and Trusting His Tone, Because There no such Darkness you could ever imagine. And if you have not been there, or only experience some dark parts or passages in parts of your dark life, like we all have, shared in many dark nights and days, which will be many.

But This place, The One Your Father wants you to be! For The Child of GOD, everything in this Life is For molding us For The Life That is to Come,

This Universe Nothing but “Futile” made for Vanity and it really doesn’t matter and never will be remember as if it never existed. This sorrow will pass away.

This place is,“Futile”!

Made for only 1 purpose then cast away like a untimely mold.

“The Dark Night of The Soul” is not a Psychological place. it is Real place, A place of Preparation, where we all will be. The ones who will love HIS appearing.

If would be Futile to add or suggest or Scribe such a knowledge of That place, For There are no words to describe on earth that Attempt to even dare to explain unless one has been there. Nothing is psychologically or anything or in Humanity can go there. The words must me “Anthropomorphic”

But all our words are Recorded in “Eternity”.

I see you just as a Brother in Christ Jesus, and a part of the Body of Christ!

We're too quick to label, and to number believers onto those who are acceptable or not.
I just look to know how some come across and the reaction that they generate which automatically creates a sense of animosity, without looking at the particular message in question. Which is the case with Mr. Kenneth Copeland. This particular sermon you shared, is powerful, and hits the point on your opening Scripture verse for those who will allow the Word to speak to them. For those who do not view the man with nothing but distain, and I'm sure it may be warranted in some cases, is not for me to say. Brings to mind as I was listening to him preach about Fear/Faith the Words our Lord spoke and is recorded as follows:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV

In many who read the above words will say yes it is so concerning him and others. What brings to my mind and spirit in these verses, gives voice to; is not the will of God still being done?
Are the prophesies any less valid?
Are those who have devils cast out of them any less cleansed?
Are those wonderful works somehow undone?
