We are all born slaves to sin. A slave is property. we are not reluctant slaves to sin, we are comfortable where we are. however we cannot be free from Sin, our Master, unless our freedom is bought. the price for our freedom is far beyond what we are capable of paying. the church was bought from Sin by the blood of Christ. However, we were not bought into freedom, rather we are now slaves to a new master. That is Christ. Now I ask this question: Can a slave of one master (Sin) choose to be bought by another master (Christ)? or is is it left at the discretion of the One who is paying to choose those he will. And of those who have been bought by Christ, who, if any, could escape the service of such a master
