A mother asked President George W. Bush Jr. ...

"Why did my son have to die in Iraq ?"

A mother asked President Bill Clinton ...

"Why did my son have to die in Saudi Arabia ?"

A mother asked President George Bush Sr. ...

"Why did my son have to die in Kuwait ?"

Another mother asked President Lyndon B. Johnson ...

"Why did my son have to die in Vietnam ?"

Another mother asked President Harry S. Truman ...

"Why did my son have to die in Korea ?"

Another mother asked President Franklin D. Roosevelt ...

"Why did my son have to die on Iwo Jima ?"

Another mother asked President Woodrow Wilson ...

"Why did my son have to die on a battlefield on a field in France ?"

Yet another mother asked President Abraham Lincoln ...

"Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg ?"

And yet another mother asked President George Washington ...

"Why did my son have to die on a frozen field near Valley Forge ?"

...

Then long, long ago, a mother asked...

"Heavenly Father ...

why did my Son have to die on a cross outside of Jerusalem ?"

The answer is the same ....

"So that others may have life and dwell in peace, happiness, and freedom."

This was emailed to me with no author. I thought the magnitude and the simplicity were awesome.

IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS, FEEL FREE...TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM.

My prayers are always with the troops, I think its easy for people to sit back and complain when they have no idea what
these men are going through. Its a job they chose (no one held a gun and forced them ) and I repect them for it,
while we cowards sit back and talk. When our tongues should be used for prayer.

Whether you support it or not, these men and women need our prayers.

Great Post Chad.

I agree sister. Our troops chose to join the army or marine. They chose to be heroes, courageous and brave warriors to fight for freedom! Why do their parents complain then instead of sticking up for them? The rest who complain? Their opinions are worthless and foolish. Their little absurd hypocritical insults against our own president is childish and absurd.

These men and women chose to fight. GOD bless them for it. The rest should shut up and pray!
