Seeking God Humbly and Wholeheartedly

"But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find [Him] if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV

What’s important for you to know about seeking God?

• Before Creation, God decided to seek worshippers who in turn would seek Him, humble themselves, acknowledge and confess and repent of their sins, seek His forgiveness, actively obey His commands, and love Him with all their heart, soul, strength, and mind (See Deuteronomy 4:29, 1 Chronicles 28:9; 2 Chronicles 15:12; Psalms 63:1; 119:2; Isaiah 55:6, 65:1; Jeremiah 29:13; and Zephaniah 2:3; see also Luke 19:10; John 4:23; Acts 17:27; and Hebrews 11:6).
• To seek God wholeheartedly isn’t always a personal matter. It’s also important to seek God’s blessing and favor on your community, city, and nation (see 2 Chronicles 7:14; Jeremiah 29:7 and 50:4; Hosea 10:12; and Zephaniah 2:3; 8:21-22).
• To seek God wholeheartedly is to seek His forgiveness, favor, approval, presence, protection, and other blessings. (See 1 Chronicles 16:10-11; Psalms 9:10; 22:26; 24:6; 34:10; 40:16; 69:32; 70:4. Also see Proverbs 14:32; Lamentations 3:25; Hosea 3:5; Amos 5:14; and Hebrews 11:6.)
