Roman 3:10As it is written, ( Psalm 14 ) There is none righteous, no, not one:

Roman 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

Roman 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

PSALM 14

To the chief Musician,A Psalm of David.


The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. ( That is the Rich Man) They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

Ye ( THE FOOL which is the RICH MAN ) have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

Oh that the salvation of <st1:country-region><st1:place>Israel</st1:place></st1:country-region>were come out of <st1:City><st1:place>Zion</st1:place></st1:City>! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and<st1:country-region><st1:place>Israel</st1:place></st1:country-region> shall be glad.

Pretty simple. All of us have sinned. Every one of us. Maybe not every single hour of every single day; but none of us can say we have not sinned. The wages of sin death ( Rom 6:23 ) God's standards are so high, even hating your brother is the same murder. ( Mat 5:22 ) even lust is the same as adultery ( Mat 5:28 ). The point is, no matter how "good" you are. You cannot meet God's standards. The only person that never sinned was Jesus. ( Heb 4:15 )

Prayer Before Bible <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:City><st1:place>Reading</st1:place></st1:City>: Let us praise the book of God the Scriptures of the Blessed Jesus this that is more real than life for the Holy Life within it.

And behold the never failing sense of purpose, structure, security, and psychological grounding, that arise from the motions of the Law; and how the mere act of defining a thing as good or bad, or pure or impure, or permitted or forbidden, gives an individual an automatic and very real dignity not obtainable otherwise; for by refraining from what is evil and pursuing what is good, the individual finds himself elevated, purified, and ennobled, freed from reliance upon the acceptance or rejection of men, and brought into the presence of the power and the peace that preceded and transcends the world.

Whatever exists is caused by another. Thus there was a beginning to what is therefore a causal chain when an uncaused First Cause brought the world into being

5 Why should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my supplanters surrounds me?
6 Those who trust in their wealth, and boast about the abundance of their riches;
7 None of them can in any way redeem his brother, or give to God a ransom for him —
8 For redeeming them would entail too high an expense, one that could never be undertaken —
9 That he might continue living forever and not see corruption.
10 For he sees that the wise die, that the foolish and brutish likewise perish, and leave their wealth to others.

21 For my heart was embittered, and there was a sharp sensation in my kidneys;

23 Yet I am continually with You: You have grasped me by my right hand.
24 You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Who do I have in Heaven other than You? And there is no one that I have any desire to serve along with You on earth.
26 Even though my flesh and my heart will be consumed, God will be as an impregnable position for my heart, and He will be my portion forever.
27 For behold, those who are far from You will perish; You destroy all those who turn away from You.
28 But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have placed my trust in the Lord GOD, that I might declare all Your messages.

LUKE 16:19-31

19 There was a certain rich man who, clothing himself in purple and fine linen, was ever of a cheerful disposition, being in luxury.
20 And there was a certain poor man named Lazarus who had been placed by his gate, covered with sores,
21 Who wanted to be fed with what fell from the table of the rich man; also dogs came and they licked his sores.
22 And it happened that the poor man died, and was carried away by the angels to the bosom of Abraham; the rich man also died and was buried;
23 And in Hell lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he saw Abraham from far off and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he called out, saying, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus that he might dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in torment in this flame."
25 But Abraham said, "Son, remember that you during your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus his bad things; but now he is comforted here while you are tormented.
26 "And besides all this, a great chasm has been placed between us and you people, so that those who might want to pass from here to you cannot; neither can anyone cross over from there to us."
27 Then he said, "Let me ask of you then, father, to send him to my father’s house;
28 "Because I have five brothers; that he might testify to them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment."
29 But Abraham said, "They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them."
30 But he said, "No, father Abraham; but if someone from the dead would go to them, they would repent."
31 But he said to him, "If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead."

How hard is it for a rich man to enter the <st1:place><st1:PlaceType>Kingdom</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName>God</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>? It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the <st1:place><st1:PlaceType>Kingdom</st1:PlaceType> of <st1:PlaceName>God</st1:PlaceName></st1:place>!

Every verse of the bible, understood within its direct context and shaped by the whole counsel of God, has a proper place. Romans 3:10 says that all have sinned and fallen short the glory of God.

Understood within the context of the first three chapters of the book of Romans, 'all' must mean both Jews and Gentiles who were described in the previous chapters. In the bible I am not sure that 'all' ever means everyone who has ever lived or will ever live. Here in our verse all cannot mean everyone, simply because Jesus is not included in the 'all'.

In the verses surrounding our verse, Paul is speaking about those who would come to believe in Jesus. Those are the only ones he is concerning himself about at the moment as well as the intent of the letter as a whole. It may be true that everyone who has ever lived since Adam till now has committed sin but it doesn't necessarily mean that Paul is trying to say that in this verse. It doesn't matter if someone was born and have not sinned their whole life as they were born with original sin and their blood is not worthy of sacrifice as Jesus' pure blood is. For this same cause, even though we may live sinless lives after the model produced for us in Christ Jesus, we still must have the blood of Christ and the imputed righteousness to be accepted by God the Father.

Quoting the previous verses of Rom 3:10-18 to claim they speak about everyone is an incorrect use of those verses. Those verses speak about and too those who are under the law, gentiles excluded. They are there to condemn them who think they are righteous by following the law, such as the Pharisees.
