Requesting prayer for my husband

Hello All:

I'm fairly new to this. I am requesting prayer for my husband of 36 years. He left me on Dec/06 for a much younger woman. He is almost 62 and his new woman is 36, the same age as our oldest son. We have 3 grown children of our own and 4 grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Satan is blinding his eyes. He wears no guilt and no remorse for what he's doing. He's been a christian and then this young woman deceives him, and in just a matter of 2 months, he moves in with her. She has 5 children of her own. This has been 17 months ago now but I'm still praying and believing for the Lord Jesus to convict him of his ways. He's hurt me and our children and grandchildren so much. He makes no contacts at all with our children or grandchildren, and he's voiced to me that he wants to spend quality time with his "new" family. What kind of a man can turn his back on his own flesh and blood?

I know that satan is attacking homes and his mission it so steal, kill and destroy. It's so sad to hear that lately, more and more families and marriages are being broken! These are the last days indeed.

I do want to give a praise report. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last October. I was devastated as I was still licking my wounds since my husband left us. However, with much prayer, I'm now healed! I had a mastectomy and had a number of chemo treatments, but when I went to see the specialist this past week, all is well! I need no more chemo treatments!! I just want to Praise the Lord for His healing power!!! I thank Him ever, ever so much for touching my body!!

I also know that He can change this situation with my husband. Please, come into agreement with me and my family for the Lord's Holy Spirit to convict my husband Richard... so he'll come back to Jesus and to his God-given family!

yes, indeed, I agree with you in prayer for Richard and for you and your family.
It is so easy to give up, to become impatient, and to fall in a heap when terrible things happen, so you are a wonderful witness to the Lord in staying in prayer after all this time....

Hi Brooke. You have been through a lot! You are a woman of faith to keep your head up and know God is on control. I will stand in prayer with you and your family for your husbands return and that God command satan to loosen his hold on your husband. Its great that you have no more cancer! God is great indeed! Lord I pray that you give Brooke and her family all of the strength and all of the comfort and all of the faith they need in this time to see them through until your work is finished. Hi..

I want to thank all who replied and those who are standing with me for my husband! I know there is power in prayer and when we pray for God's will, (like reconcilliation), He will answer "in His time." I don't know if he'll come back home...only God knows that. My most earnest prayer is that he comes back to Jesus before his time on earth is over. I do love him still, and I will until the day I die; however, I can't force him to love me back.

God's blessings to you all! This looks like it's a wonderful site...some serious praying take place here, and this is what the "present day church" lacks... prayer without ceasing.
