Dear Saints,

I've been spending time with a lady called Heather who has said that she wants Jesus in her life, but has a severe personality disorder which I believe to be demonisation. She seems to go from crisis to crisis of feeling fear and not wanting to be alone, and when she is she drinks heavily and phones emergency services.

I'd be so grateful if you would please be able to support me in prayer for her. She has alienated many people including Christians who have been trying to help her.

Thank you so much,

God bless,

Rachel

But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us....
Romans 5:8

Yes dear sister Rachel

I am praying for Heather...I thank the Lord for her interest in Jesus....and know that the Lord can save her and will accept her just as she is....He is greater than all her problems.

And dear brothers and sisters.....Let us also lift up our sister Rachel to the Lord in prayer for blessing as she seeks to share the love of Jesus with Heather. I am aware she has been spending a lot of time supporting and ministering to this desparate soul, whom others have rejected as a lost cause.

The Lord bless you Rachel

Julia

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
Isaiah 52:7

I stand in agreement sisters- I also ask that the Lord will greatly bless the ministering as He brings beauty out of ashes.
Much love,Wendy

I pray that the cleansing blood of Jesus covers Heather and that any illness, or anything not of the Lord is removed. That any confusion or mental illness is understood (or that which is present) and that any urge to use alcohol is removed. May the Lord meet her in this time of hardship and let His voice be clear and heard. May those who are near pray to remove anything not of the Lord, just as He called them by name to cast out, may those near to Heather do the same. We are called to intercede and we can pray the armor of God over our brothers and sisters.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8

Thank you and bless you for your replies. Just to update you - the Lord spoke to me about Heather and I believe He is saying that Heather needs to recognise her need of Him. I have to had to take a step back since there was so much pressure coming from Heather to stay with her, and yet she did not seem to want to take responsibility herself.

I am going to see her for a while this coming Monday and will see what happens.

Thanks again for your prayers of support,

With love,

Rachel

God bless you Sister Rachel for the burden.. I will be praying for you that God may be with you and heather..

Sister Reymielin

Dear Julia, Wendy, IsbahIshbah, Carlos and reymielin,

A big THANK YOU for praying for Heather. I have spent some time with her today and encouraged her to come to a Christian drop-in called Lighthouse where people who are going through a difficult time are invited to come to spend time in fellowship and have a meal. Unfortunately, Heather had already drank some alcohol before we left and when we got there needed lots of persuasion to stay for a little while before she became quite insistent that I took her home, even though I explained that she would be by herself.

Two ladies spent some time with Heather - one of whom gave her a rose and talked of God's love for her and the transformation that can come through spending time with the Lord. The other lady gave her a CD of scripture set to peaceful music for her to listen to.

Heather said she was glad that she had come and seen the people at Lighthouse, however, as soon as I took her home she began drinking so I said that I would not stay. I put on the CD that had been given to her before I left.

I just felt that I ought to update you as to how she is. It is so difficult to see her making the decision to have alcohol, but I am not sure, other than explaining to her that this is a bad decision and why, how I can prevent her from drinking when she is making this choice for herself. I am not sure how much of it is addiction now.

I just want to thank you so much for praying for her and for supporting me. I have arranged to see her next Monday when I plan to spend some time with her and to encourage her to come to Lighthouse again (which is twice weekly).

I believe that Heather is hearing the Lord's encouragement and gentle words of love from many people now. More positively, Heather did choose to listen to a worship CD I left with her and said she liked it.

With love,

Rachel
