The knowledge of God, and the remembrance of his all-seeing presence, are the most powerful means against hypocrisy."

I love the title! There is more knowledge of God packed into that one paragraph than the most lengthy and pretentious oratory of preachers who do not really know God, evident by their message that invokes God, but glorifies self. The popular theological refrain of the modern day is, 'that all men may know who I am.'

This little bit of knowledge, not merely read with the eyes, but burned upon the heart, also has the power to shatter the delusions of religious man that he is anything like God.

Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
