So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you. Luke 17:6 NKJV
The Bible has much to say about what faith can do for you. Faith is at the heart of God’s work of saving you for eternity. Faith is what moves God to empower you to serve Him and do the work. He has called you to do. And faith is necessary to receive the things God has promised to provide for you.
Faith is simply believing God and taking Him at His word. Faith keeps you praying about the things that can keep you up at night. Faith gives you the perseverance you need to keep praying, even when things aren’t happening as quickly as you’d like. And faith helps keep you doing what God wants you to do.
Take some quiet time to reflect on everything God has already done for you—and then let that build up your faith. Let your faith assure you that He is working in your heart right now to make you into the man He created you to be.
Prayer: God, help me to have stronger faith. Remind me that there is never a time You leave me along to try to figure things out for myself. Thank You, Lord, for loving me and caring for me
