Random Thoughts

Trust in the Lord He will lead us like a light on our path
With no place to go but onward into the light out of night
Our destiny the will He has for us awaits us for the taking

Oh I know how hard it is to look back at what was what could
If only I would have known before if only could make it all right
Stop don't turn back don't look back and turn to salt like Lot’s wife

Life is full of regrets I know, He knows but got to move on and forget
Christ died for us to erase our sins our regrets by His blood their gone
All that is left is for us run the race go for that crown of life

This race cant be won by speed or whose fastest but by compassion
This race not a competition must help others along the way with love
Suck in the pride, slow down, reach out help the fallen to get this crown

Want to hear God speak hear His voice talking calling you
Well just let go of all and everything be still know He is God
Praying is listening not just asking, so listen hear Him Speak

I know its hard to make sense of random thoughts but sometimes
When we separate them can see their not so random after all
Just need to dump them all out and sort where they belong

Drop everything dont think about it just go just follow His voice
Dosen’t take twenty years of study to know how to follow Him
Or to know His will for He will put His desires in our hearts

Just have to learn to say Yes Lord here I come I will follow
I dont care what happens here on out may take everything
But like Job I will praise you and trust you with my soul
