I know many people have a notebook that they write about their daily devos in. Do people normally write more subjectedly or about themselves personally. Because I normally have not been including anything about my day to day spirtual hardships and was wondering if I should. Thanks

Jesusgirlkk,

Write about anything and everything, including hardships and failures. I also write out prayers and God's answers. This way you can go back at a later date and review how God has been working in your life.

Jesusgirlkk, I agree with Oboy, write whatever God puts on your heart. For I believe the Holy Spirit will speak to you, and later these notes will help you yourself and others also.

I usually journal what God speaks to me in my heart and through His Word by the Holy Spirit.
Though it seems to be different subject matter and thoughts at the end of the week it always comes together (when read as a whole) to form a family bible study with a very cohesive thread.
Taking the time to write down revelations, answered prayer and testimonies of how God moved in your life can be a real encouragement for yourself and others as you share.
