Truly God [is] good to Israel, To such as are pure in heart. Psalm 73:1 NKJV
What do you need to do to place yourself in a position to receive all God has for you? That’s a great question to help you realign your priorities so that Jesus is first in every area of your life—so that you are “pure in heart.”
When you commit yourself wholly to the Lord, you can be confident that nothing in the world can defeat you. When you stay connected to Him, when you keep your heart pure and humble and tell Him with sincerity that He means everything to you, you’ll remain right in the middle of His goodness.
Do a quick inventory of the things that are most important to you. When Jesus is first on that list, you can be sure that your heart will be in step with His priorities. Not only that, but you’ll put yourself in the right place to receive all He has for you.
Stay anchored to God’s heart because His heart is for you. When you do that, His goodness will rain over you every day.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I want You to be my everything. Purify my heart so I can give you the worship You deserve. Help me make my life all about You. Please show me how to put myself—and keep myself—in a place where I can experience Your goodness in my life.
