Psalm 68:4-5
"I have endured hardships, while crying out. My jaws have become hoarse; my eyes have failed. Meanwhile, I hope in my God. Those who hate me without cause have been multiplied beyond the hairs of my head. My enemies, who persecuted me unjustly, have been strengthened. Then I was required to pay for what I did not take."

Hardships, temptations, manipulations etc. come to us in what seems like the most unexpected time. "I've been a walking heart ache I've made a mess of me. The person that I've been lately ain't who I want to be.." my song, and it feels like this is the way my life plays out. I've been in the rain while it's pouring down. And it feels like I've always been in the rain. Always been trying but always been in the rain. I've had my bad days and at times it feels like I have more bad days and less good days. Feels like I live with the devil himself. And those who hate me seem to grow stronger and stronger as I grow weaker and weaker. If you ever try avoiding something or someone "bad" you come to know that the more you try to avoid the storm and let it pass the longer or harder it seems to fight back. The Lord says to pray for our enemies and bless those who persecute us in His Holy Name. It is easier said than done. But I've been forgiven but not forgotten. How can God forget my sins when the scars on His Son have my sins inscribed all over it? He cannot yet He continues to love us.

There is the saying often said "forgive but don't forget". This plays out in many parts. Part of not forgetting is not so we can remind this person of their wrong doing. Part of not forgetting is so we learn from what we've been through and allow it to shape us into the person we hope to become. Just as God does not remind you of your past sins every time you commit another sin, try not to remind others of their last offense. God doesn't forget but He forgives. Forgive but don't forget. Learn from your past and make your future stronger.

Fight with the armor of God and let the scripture be your teacher.

Blessings
