The Quran says, "For those who reject Allah, there is a terrible penalty: but for those who believe and work righteous deeds, there is forgiveness and a magnificent reward" (Surah 35:7). This great reward is janna, a garden paradise, an eternal place of sensual and spiritual pleasures.

No Savior, but Mercy Is Possible
In Islam, there is no savior. That is not to say salvation is impossible, for Allah is merciful and compassionate. He can always forgive—for Allah's will is supreme—but He is primarily the judge. There are many descriptive warnings about hellfire and punishment in the Quran.

Judgment Day: A Motivation to Righteous Deeds
All men should fear Judgment Day, in which each person's deeds will be weighed on a scale. "Recording angels" keep a list of every deed, both good and bad. Islamic teachers assign credits to deeds related to the pillars of Islam. It is unthinkable for many Muslims to abandon their accumulation of credits and trust a Savior.

Guarantee of Paradise?
Muslim terrorists manipulate the Quran to suggest that paradise is guaranteed for jihad martyrs. Most Muslim scholars and leaders reject the terrorists' definitions of jihad and martyrdom.

Compare with Christianity

Judgment Day
Christians believe that after death, all people await the final Judgment when both believers and unbelievers will be resurrected. All will be judged according to the deeds they have done, but believers will be saved because God removed the record that contained the charges against them. He destroyed it by nailing it to the cross of Jesus. (Colossians 2:14) This would remove the list of bad deeds kept by any Muslim's "recording angel."

The Gift of Salvation
Even if one's list of good deeds outweighed their list of bad deeds, it would not make them acceptable to God. The Bible says this would only cause boasting and pride, as though someone could impress God by their good deeds. (Ephesians 2:8-10) Instead God has credited us with the righteousness of Christ, so salvation is a gift, not earned by anyone, not even martyrs, but bought with a great price (Jesus' blood).

A Renewed Relationship With God
In addition to this great gift, God the Father adopts those He saves into His family so they may live with Jesus in Heaven. To be saved involves being "born again" into a new relationship with God. (John 3:5)

Muslims follow the law of Moses. This is 100% opposition to the ways of the devil. We draw near to God by hating what is evil Rom 12:9, James 4:8. We reject the light / Jesus / God by loving what is evil John 3:19. Following the laws of Moses equate to one being after the heart of God.

The Muslim's are brought up in the faith from children, we are muslim's we do this, Allah is our God.
How many Christian families are brought up as born again families should be. Not many.

True but in the western world brides won't say they will obey their husbands, husbands do not know their duty to the wife, no wonder there are so many divorces.

But Christian men and women, as husband and wife, should also take note of the following scripture before they are married...

Out of context brother. What I was doing was comparing the western worlds, lack of care of families and the older family member, compared to Islam, and none Islam, eastern world ways, where they do care for families, from babies, to parents, grand-parents, great grand-parents up to them dying.

You are correct in what you say my friend

Except just to clarify your point of another Jesus. Jesus was a popular name at the time of our Lord's ministry on earth, they don't recognise another Jesus as you state, but they do recognise there was a Jesus Christ, as a prophet, a lesser prophet than muhammad, one cannot help but wonder if he was introduced into their writings so they can say they now about Jesus. They do not know Jesus Christ as we do, or as the Bible states, they only know from their own writing and teaching.

While this thread might seem a nice juicy steak to fight over, let us be mindful that we are not here to bag out other 'religions' or 'faiths' .
Neither are we here to publish as much as we can about other things besides Jesus Christ.

As the OP and Title of the Thread 'asked' to tell about what is wrong with quran, we do well to rather tell about what is right about the Bible and Who it is about. A counterfeit is recognized only by knowing the real thing. Likewise, discussion about quran or any other 'holy book' and the followers or adherents of such will never bring truth to anyone searching and needing truth.

Please consider this before continuing your discussion here. If you really must continue, may i suggest you do so in private with one another.
