Hey everybody. So I would like to hear yall's input on something. I have an app for my phone, a worldwide prayer app, its like a social network except for prayers, anyways i try to post a certain prayer at least every hour or so. The prayer I post is "Praying for repentance among God's people". the reasons why i post this prayer so often are many... 1) i would like to have more fellowship with people who live more holy lives 2) i would like to live a more holy life 3) i would like the body at large to have a better witness by living as a whole a more holy life, and 4) i believe repentance is necessary for salvation and i would like that process to be quicker and deeper and more all encompassing for all of us Christians and all those who will be Christians one day.

Anyways, there is a person on this prayer app who constantly comments on my prayers, telling me that they are a "seer", that they have a special gift from Jesus, that I need to stop "preaching repentance", that believers dont need to hear repentance, that believers dont need repentance, that John the baptist already preached repentance, and that if i want to preach repentance i need to preach it to unbelievers only.

This person is just relentless about this, and will not stop commenting on my prayers. I have taken a lot of time to quote scripture, explain my reasonings, write her personal messages of encouragements, etc etc etc. but she will just not stop with this.

what are your thoughts about this?

What did Jesus preach? repentance.
If her message disagrees with Jesus' message, maybe it's time to block this person or find another app.
John the baptist wasn't the only one preaching repentance. (Matt 4:17; Matt 11:20-21; Luke 5:32; Luke 13:3-5; etc... )

Repentance is synonymous with humility. It is absurd to say believers don't need to repent.

When we have overcome everything completely that could or would stand between us and God then will there be no further need to repent. Through Jesus, God has made a Way to attain such a goal, but who has reached it already? If there are any, it would seem that such a overcomers would not 'toot their own horns' because to do so simply to satisfy another person's curiosity would be testifying for his own glory rather than for God's glory.
