I know people have their opinions about who Michael Jackson is ( I won't say was because his memory will never die ) but that's just it an opinion. Some christians are even afraid to mourn his death in fear of being judge by other christians.

Well I'm not, I've never been the kind to care what people think about me or pass judgement on my actions.

Michael Jackson was not a celebrity to me, I didn't have to sit in a room with him to know who he is. Because through his music he shared what was in his heart, his love for those in need and the pain he felt towards injustice.

Much of the money made during his tours and sales went into charities, for HIV/AIDS, cancer, burnt victims and where ever there was a need.

I went to the Apollo theater to give my respects, as I read the wall, I was a bit upset...because I know some of these people are hypocrites to the vendors on the streets selling t-shirts with his face. How many of them believed in him or understood him?

As a child I would awake and say a prayer for Michael, that one day people would understand him, that he will get to heaven. I loved him as the friend I never had and always wanted. On his birthday I'd ask God to give him peace.

His death should be a wake up call to many. Whatever you build on this earth stays on this earth, the money, the house, the cars etc. But the one thing that matters is what message did you leave. How many people did you help, did you really love your neighbour. What is your legacy ? Did others see Jesus in you ?

Yeah she/he went to church every day...but had a attitude, was judgemental, was a gossip, a murmurer.

Michael Jackson did something Elvis couldn't even do...he took elvis crown and became an international icon. Put a group of people of all ages from around the world in a room, and ask them who is Michael Jackson and trust me they'll probably name the same songs, dont know english but would be able to sing it..lol. That's the impact he left on the world, not just the US.

The World will forever try to imitate his dance moves. Michael Jackson open the doors of having black music on Mtv, it was never done before his reps had to threaten Mtv if they didn't play his video they'd pull all their other artist videos. People don't know about those facts. There's alot more to people besides the opinions we create in our minds.

One of my prayers was answered, I met someone who actually understood Michael, he could analysis every song and tell you the message.
I don't know where he was with God, but I hope that prayer was answered. It would be fun seeing him teach Moses the moonwalk.

We know him as an icon, but to the Jacksons he was family..and no matter what opinion ( opinion is not a fact ) we may have, pray for his kids and relatives. Death is hard on everyone.

Michael Jackson's message is '' we are the world'' and " man in the mirror ".

As a christian I believe that message. Talk is always cheap but when we become proactive only then can we bring the change. Before all this.

I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change His Ways
And No Message Could've
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
Take A Look At Yourself And
Then Make That . . .
Change!

If I don't walk according to God's word, how do I expect to make a change? How do I expect people to want to make a change?

We have to get it right, quit pointing fingers at the catholics, muslims , jehovah witnesses, homosexuals and all outcast and go look in the mirror. The gospel starts with us, our life style.

Michael was a music genius, a perfectionist a humanitarian a child prodigy...and with most gifted people there's always a uniqueness in their thinking and the way they lived.

I pray he was right with God, ...my message to everyone quit judging people who lived differently, our judgemental words don't save me. Take the time to get to know them and make a difference in their life. I know we make a fuss when christian singers mingle with secular singers..but who's going to shine the light if we remove ourselves from those in darkness. I didn't get a chance to sit with Michael and talk about Jesus, but we still have a chance to those who are still living.

God bless everyone who took the time to read this...please keep the Jackson's in prayer.

thank you.

That's ok to God be the glory for all the good things he has done.
When we need prayer may he provide.
May his peace be upon those who lost a son, brother, father, uncle and cousin.
Let your salvation be known to those who are lost.

In Jesus name ..Amen

thanks for your thoughts . . .

actually im not a real Michael Jackson "FAN" but of course Im old enough that his music has accompanied me my whole life. . .

its always sad when someone dies and I cry with every funeral I attend or hear or see . . .its just sad, mostly of course the ones left behind and especially children involved loosing parents at a young age . . .

I was really touched by everything yesterday .. .the weeks before I was not really paying attention, but yesterday and still today my thoughts were with Michael and his life and family and his kids and everything he musta went through too . . .

anyway . . .yes I mourn with his family too and its really sad to see him be outta this world. . .

His songs speak a lotta truth I live too and like you said

"man in the mirror" and "heal the world" are messages within themselves too . . .

I hope Michael did meet Jesus on the way through life . . .

Thank you for your heartfeelings being poured out  you described it all in all very good for me too

I love Michael! Have been a fan since the 80's... Been crying a lot (- I need prayer, Lol). We watched him through his trials and lengthy persecution, while all the way he showed how believers' in Christ have love for others, showing compassion for the poor, the ill, and the downtrodden. The love of Jesus in his heart. Without love it is all for nothing. I believe Michael is at rest with The Good Lord above. Thank you God for his example.

A Prayer

I pray dear Father...in the name of Jesus Christ, that Michael Jackson is at peace finally and is cherished and loved by You. Michael Jackson had an impact on my life and I believed that he was trying to spread a message of decency to the world. I pray that he is safe with You Jesus and receives the love and acceptance that he so deserves.

Amen
