Greetings Brothers and sisters,
I ask that you would pray for my mother, Florence. After 3 years of in and out of hospitals, nursing homes and brief periods of living in Assisted Living doing well, she now has a UTI with 2 strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria. So far, nothing is working and she is slipping deeper and deeper into the Alzheimers.
She is scared, confused and suffering. I ask that you pray that God would comfort her and give her peace and that HIS will would be done concerning her health and healing. She is 84 years old and has had many health problems for 3 years.
The worst part is the Alzheimer. She told me a long time ago that if her mind ever went she would want to go home to be with the Lord. I feel in my heart God has been preparing me.
Please pray for me and my children that we are able to endure whatever God has planned.

I'd like also to ask for prayer for a dear friend of mine, Caryl. She is going through some very difficult times and she is very discouraged. Please pray that God would increase her faith and help her to let go of things and leave them in His hands completely.

Thank you for your prayers ~ Have a blessed Thanksgiving

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Hi Katzie,

Sorry to hear that your mother has Alzheimers. I know this can be a difficult time for your mother and the family.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift Katzie, her children and her mother to you Lord and ask that you will comfort them in time of anxieties and in times of the unknown. Lord keep Katzie in your perfect peace and let her know that you will be with her during this difficult time. And with mother Florence keep your angels around about her and in her time of confusion bring comfort only you can bring to her. Lord touch her body and give it strength.

Lord I ask that you touch Caryl, and a word will be sent to her that will bring encouragement and strength. Let your promises be brought forth to her and be renew. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen

Thank you Lord that we can come unto your throne of grace and ask for help in time of need.
Thank you Lord for your shelter and refuge that you provided for us.

Thank you all for your prayers. I visited my mother yesterday. She has been bumped up to "no contact" isolation as the Dr.s have not yet found a way to get rid of the resisitant strains of bacteria and they are highly contagious. I had to gown up and I wasn't allowed to touch her. However, we did have a wonderful time of conversation. When she was stuck for a word, I was able to know what she wanted to say and help her. She is the most amazing woman I have ever known in my life. She never complains, she never has a bad attitude, she continues to be the sweet and kind woman she is and continues to have her wonderful sense of humor. I praise and thank God for comforting her and giving me the courage to go there and trusting Him that we would be able to have conversation.

Now I must ask for prayer for my daughter and her boyfriend. They are both heroin addicts in recovery. The enemy used the Holiday to bring them down yesterday and they made a stupid decision to get high and that is what I came home to. Please pray for them to once for all give their lives to God, to once and for all declare that they are not able to overcome this addiction on their own strength that only God can give them victory. They know this but they keep taking it back into their hands and relying on their strength. Pray that God would lead me and guide me to handle this situation the way HE wants me to according to HIS will.

Thank you also for the prayers for my friend, Caryl. I met her last night at midnight when she got off from work and she was filled with scriptures God led her to, she was encouraged and fully persuaded that God would lead her and her family.

I thank you all for your prayers. The power of prayer is great. I thank God for this place of fellowship and friendship through Christ Jesus.

God bless all of you and yours and my the Lord God Almighty answer all your prayers and provide all your needs in Jesus name, Amen!

Kathy
