Prayer request!

First, I don't like asking prayer requests for myself. That being said, last month we were on vacation Franklin, NC. we stayed at a Bed & Breakfast.
I was taking a shower, the shower was very small, barely enough room to turn around.

Anyway, I fell backward, out of the shower, I hit the back of my head on the sink, then hit my head on the floor. Lora wanted to take me to a doctor, I refused. We are back home in the Nortwest.

I have been having headaches and have been unsteady, I going to my doctor today. Please pray that it's nothing serious.

I agree that nothing is serious. I believe your doctor will have the wisdom of God to help. I believe they will find everything that is wrong, (If anything.)

This is most likely what they will check for as you have symptoms of this.

Blood can pool under the skull, which can be fatal even after a couple of weeks of the accident.subdural hematoma

Most of the time these will go away, but a Doctor can do test to see how server it is. The worse case would be they would have to open you skull and relieve the pressure, most of the time they monitor your with medication.

In any event, your going to be just fine. God is faithful.

Thank yall for the kind words! Bro Mike, you are right re. my Dr. is concerned about a subdural hemotoma. I'm going to have a head CT scan tomorrow, had blood drawn, CBC. he's not taking any chances.

He said I should have listened to Lora and gone to a Dr. in North Carolina, even though we were on vacation.

You seem knowledgeable about the medical profession are you a doctor or a nurse?

I'm not being sarcastic, just curious, I appreciate your in put.

I guess I should have listened to my wife!

i agree in your request Brother because i also got one accident of mine one time i'm praying in the stage of our church face down, the mic stands at my back. One of the stands was fallen and it hit my head, at the back of my ear. That was three weeks ago and i had never gone to see any doctor yet.

I just continually claimed healing in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus. For a couple of weeks i felt pain but i continued rebuking the pain, or any infection or complications i may have.

Thank God these days the pain has gone. And i claimed total healing in Jesus name.

God bless you and Jesus redeems you from all dangers out of this accident Bro.

God bless you Brother. I am no doctor or nurse. The Spirit of the Lord spoke to me about it.

Everything will be fine. No fear, trust God. God has not protected you this long to be taken out by a bump on the head. The devil is not that strong.

and reymielin: I am Word of faith all the way, and I to have not gone to the Doctor when coughing Blood for six months. Not everyone is at the faith level, but I have learned it is best to have God's Wisdom also, to get the same results. So, if that means go to the Doctor, by the direction of the Holy Ghost, then we should go. Wisdom is the principle thing. I do like the fact you stood on that kind of faith though.

Praise the Lord bro. i'm amazed the Holy Spirit told you exactly the term is. I heard our Spiritual Director once said that is a gift called "Word of knowledge or Word of Wisdom - the two are different yet they are both gift of knowing."

Faith can move mountains. So i just did it through faith Bro. Me too believes in medical applications. But as you said we need to discern God's direction to get the same results.

I am impressed you know something about this.

I was just given the term, and had a sense that things are going to be OK.

It's Gods way to let us know he's involved which should bring comfort. I wish that all Christians operated in the Gifts of the Spirit and had the faith to do so.

The gifts operate as the Spirit wills, in those that will receive.

Had a CT of my head yesterday. The Dr. is astounded, I have a brain!

Seriously, the CT was good!, Praise the Lord! :angel-animated:

I still have to see him this afternoon, I'm supposed to have my 3000 mile/3 month check up this month. I don't remember if thats why I'm seeing him today, or a followup for the head thing!

I'll let you know what's up!

Dr. visit

My Dr. visit today, the Dr., again mentioned that my head CT was ok. However, he said my blood sugar was a little higher than it should be. He said I should, at least cut back, since my blood sugar is not serious.

Oh how I love chocolate and Whethers hard taffy.
