Prayer for the Philippians

Lord Jesus, I know people who live in the Philippians. I ask for a renewed realization that everyone is affected by such a storm not just those in its path. Help us to reach out to people who we don't know. Show us how we can help even here in the USA so far away. May the Comforter cover them in His blanket of peace. I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen!

Yes amen. This storm looks vicious, over 300 miles wide and worst than Katrina.

Let's have faith for protection on the people and lift them up.

Hi Jen,

Are you referring about the Philippines or the Bibilical Philippi region. Just curious because a strong typhoon passed by our country too last week, even our own place (far north) has been hit though the land fall was at the south of the country. Thanks for your prayers and concern for us.

God has been good because few days before that my sister has been just sharing her dream about a strong flood in our place and something terrible happened to us all (lol she talked especially my part). So since I'm in big trouble that time I said maybe she's just worrying much of my concern here that's why the dream. hehe. But still I prayed about it. Praise God for His protection for my family there and His immediate provision for their needs, because it's just a part of the roof of our house was damaged, the flood doesn't reached the houses of the people though in some places like in my brother in another town, some houses were blown by the strong winds . I don't know yet if electric power has already been restored, but it is enough I was able to communicate with my parents just this few days.

I don't know how much damage and how many are the casualties Haiyan left out for the country and the people in general since the landfall is not in our place. I just hoped so it is not that much compared to Phaillin affecting many households and livelihoods in India.

The coverage by Anderson Cooper from C.N.N. has been astounding! It is so hard to understand how so many people after all they have been through can have so much courage! I am not surprised myself, since I spent some time there long ago. I have learned so much from such a people,and to me still to this day the P.I. will always be my second home! May the true power of God's own love, comfort,and rest upon these people who suffer so very much,and who have gone through so very much,and once again have shown the world what the word endurance truly means for all of us!! God Bless the good people, where the sun never sets upon,but rather rests upon such a beautiful land!

Thanks brothers and sisters for the prayer supports. Helps and support coming from foreign countries around the globe are overwhelming that it seems the corrupt government officials tends to have a selfish interest on the relief goods arriving in the country. News said that the 5 US Marine C130 Plane landing in Samar from U.N loaded with relief goods, did not allow the Politicians to touch the relief goods. And so the other relief operations from Germany and Belgium were stranded in Manila because the government says they have to have permission to assist in there and the port authority is trying to tax all the medical supplies and medicines they bring in to treat the people. This is very sad. Please pray with us that our government will be wise enough to let those victims be helped by putting off their hands on the reliefs coming for the affected place and its people. Again thank you very much.

The corrupt government for which has been there a very long time,is coming into the light of the other nations now,perhaps this was the reason in the first place for such a tragic event. Many eyes in the United States and other countries, are now witness to just how corrupt some governments can be!This is not to judge another, for we our self have many problems within our self,but not this bad,or this grave, where some people with only a broken leg are left to die simply because no blood for a transfusion could get to them? After 9 days now? Many here in the States are very upset at this, and are calling upon our government to DO!!!! SOMETHING!!! They will sis have no fear of that!!

A great many changes because of this event are about to take place now in your land! And the dear people say It is about time! For that which has been hidden so long in the darkness of the jungles of the P.I. are now coming to light,and God will move in a great and glorious way that the people of my second home never thought possible!! Those from the United States who have traveled so far in aid of our people there,will not be leaving for a long time now,there is much to discuss with your Government on how this situation can never happen again to such a dear people!

The eyes of the world are now focused upon your island,and we will be watching for a long time! There is much to do,and much to change,and the fine people deserve not only answers,but assurance in both the coming days, and yes years! There is much, many do not know going on behind what is obvious. I have made some calls myself concerning this,and i have been assured by people who can insure me,that this is only the beginning of having a much greater understanding of having this NEVER!! EVER!!! happen again!

The hands of healing both from the Lord and his children are arriving more and more each day,and nothing, and no one will stop this act from the Lord himself! The endurance of the people there will be rewarded!!( heb 12:5-11) Discipline comes to the unbelievers as well as to the believers,and the purpose of this,is to know who is truly in control of our lives!( rom 1:18-23) What is sad about this,is many wonderful people much endure because some are truly fools! But now the time of judgement comes upon those who judged others,and it is high time your Government received some harsh judgement,they were all to freely always ready to give its own people!( gal 6:7-10)

So we do good,knowing our own faults and lack,because Jesus lives,and loves,and cares so very much for each one of us! I have been praying daily for our people there,and the Lord has given me great comfort on the things to come for all there.Will there be further hardship? Of Course,but in the hardship, also comfort,and in that comfort love,and in the love, results! Results is the end of the finish line,a day of accountability for all those good and evil. And for many in your government there day of accountability has now come forth!

And the Lord shall remove many,and reset things in your land,and the people will rejoice that God has heard there prayers and answered them,and so will we rejoice with you in our Jesus! God Bless you sister, and my second home as well! For he surly will bless and not curse! In Jesus NAME AMEN!! ( phil 2:9-11!!!)
