Please teach me more how to rise my faith more and more on God.
My friend, God has given everyone a measure of faith. The gifts he gives are always enough and no matter how small they seem they are more than adequate. The first and most important thing to do is to simply decide in your heart that you will take every step in total dependence on Him. Instead of striving, fretting and struggling we put our feet forward one at a time each time reminding ourselves that He is our strength, He is our provider, He is our sufficiency and He always makes a way. You will find yourself gliding easily through what would have otherwise been an impossible situation as you turn your focus on His abilities and not your own.
Then there is the Word factor. We are to daily feed our spirit on the Word of God. How can we have faith in His Word if it is not fresh in our mind? But as we put His faithfulness, His promises and His goodness ever before our eyes we certainly see our everyday life in a completely new light.
Another thing also of great importance is learning to walk in communion with Him. We are to become aware of the fact that the presence of the Holy Spirit is with us (as believers) continually. He is our Helper, our Teacher and our Paraclete (the One who walks with us). The Holy Spirit is so precious that the Father sent Him to us after Jesus Himself asked and He is wanting to be part of our every moment. How this changes everything in our life when we realize that God Himself is a part of our work, our struggles and indeed every moment of every day. What a difference it makes in how we respond to temptation and/or trial when we know the God who created all is right there personally interacting with us. How small problems seem when we understand this.
These steps are the beginning of our calling to walk in the Spirit. This is the liberty and privilege Jesus Christ both purchase for us and gave us as our birthright (as born again believers).
What strength we have when we finally come to the end of ourselves and learn to walk in His abilities.
Please always remember me in prayers.
I will do just that my friend.
Thank you, I cannot help but be blessed for the favor of God is on everything I do. This great grace covers me (and you) and causes everyone around us to be impacted as we carry the Presence.
Luk 12:32 Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
