Prayer for Leroy

As the preacher ended the Sunday service he announced that people wanting prayer should come forward and he would pray for them. Leroy stood patiently in line for several minutes. When his turn came, he stepped up and the preacher said, "What do you need prayer for?" Leroy said, "Please pray for my hearing." The preacher put one hand over one of Leroy's ears, the other hand on his head, and he began to pray.....and pray.....and pray. Finally, he stopped and asked Leroy, "Is your hearing any better?" "Don't know yet, Reverend," said Leroy, "It ain't 'till next Wednesday."
