A Very Strategic Meeting in the UK
David will be travelling to England leaving from Stockholm at 4.10 pm Sunday afternoon 13th September and returning to Israel Tuesday 15th September. He has been invited to speak at two very strategic meetings in the Gloucester Cathedral.
A small team of local intercessors and friends of Israel have managed to organise these meetings - they purchased 200 copies of Davids book, "A Slow Train Coming" and sent a copy with a personal invitation to the meetings, to every Church leader in the area.
At lunchtime on Monday there will be a open forum for local clergy to ask David questions about Israel
Then in the evening there will be a public meeting in the Cathedral
As you can imagine it is a major coup just to be able to hold a meeting about Israel in a major Anglican Cathedral
That's where the good report ends - here is where the prayer needs begin .........
The Dean of the Cathedral did not like David's book ( the first criticism we have ever received ) He called it "inflammatory".
He has written 2 letters to the organising team requesting that David does not say anything that would offend his Muslim brothers and sisters. By the way, this Dean allowed one of the Harry Potter witchcraft movies to be filmed in the Cathedral. He has also requested that David does not talk about the political situation in the Middle East - the very focus of the meetings.
Now we hear that a local city councillor is trying to get the meeting cancelled.
So you can see there is and will be a battle going on in the Heavenlies
Will you join with me to cover all of this in prayer . And it would be great if you could attend the evening meeting in the main sanctuary of the cathedral.
1) For angelic protection and travelling mercies, air , road and rail (and for excellent health)
2) For anointing on the message and all the ministry times
3) For a double portion of anointing on the message he will preach at the Gloucester Cathedral
4) That the Dean of Gloucester Catheral will actually be drawn to attend the meeting and his heart open to receive revelation
5) For hosts of angels to be around and inside the Cathedral on the night of the meeting
6) For the Church leaders that received the invitation to be stirred by the Spirit of God to come and hear the message
7) For spiritual blindness to be removed, and the presence of God to be manifest at this Cathedral meeting
8) For the spirit of revelation to be released and poured into every heart and mind.
