Mat. 12:43-45
43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
Acts. 1:8,9
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judae, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had thus spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Ok, so the point is that after that you have received forgivness for all your sins, Jesus cleans all that nastiness out of your spirit: Matthew 12:43 "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man,,,," So what do you feel your New Cleaned-up spirit with? The Holy Spirit, right? Isn't that what Jesus told the followers of God in verse 8 above? They were already saved, right? You can't truly be a witness if you're not filled with the Holy Ghost.
If there's nothing to fill your Newly Cleaned-up, empty, swept, and garnished spirit, then there's room in there for What? Mat. 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there:..." That could be taking with you even more sin than you had before.
Good news is, if you honestly want the truth, he will Not let this happen to you. If you want and ask for his knowledge and truth after that you are saved, I do know that he will send you the Holy Ghost to fill you up so that Satan can not take over your body EVER AGAIN!
We need the Holy Ghost in us if we are to survive in the world today.
Food for thought. Simply put, straight forward, hopefully understandable.
Love you all and God Bless you!
