Well, last week my girlfriend of about 2 years broke up with me, and its been really hard. She was Jewish, but we both prayed together, and were accountable to one another, and I could tell that she would come to know Christ one day. We both wanted to get married one day, but last week, she told me that she just didn't feel the same way anymore, and its been really hard trying to deal with that. My feelings for her haven't changed, and its been rough. To me, she's the most beautiful girl God's ever created, and oh so lovely. Now that its over, and she has no intention of returning, I feel lost.

Please pray that I might move on relatively painlessly and I might root myself deep in Christ and know that he is all the foundation I need. Thank you.

Oh, and today I just found out she's already going out with another guy that she promised me before that she didn't have feelings for. And this is after she told me that she didn't want another relationship for a long time. And she's just as happy as ever.

Pray that I can control my anger too please.

You are talking about life dear brother. We have to forget the disappointments and keep moving on.

Rest assured you will find that girl which is for you only. Particularly as you keep in touch with Jesus, and with His people.

I'm sorry that you are struggling, but trust that this has happened for a reason. God makes no mistakes, and while this is very painful and hard right now, you will get through it and emerge even stronger. You're in my prayers.

Dear xv2000

I do pray for you and know how you must feel. Terrible. I can only imagine. I very sorry to hear. But I also noticed that you've answered yourself.

"Christ is the only foundation you'll ever need" - by saying that is a very good start towards healing. And what I did when I was in you position was I indulged myself in Christ, I hid so far inside of our Lord Jesus Christ (because I was afraid of getting hurt again) that if any man wanted to find me, he should find Christ first and then he'll find me there.

And wow, did it happen??? The Lord protected me and He blessed me with someone much much beter than that person that broke my heart. I couldn't believe that He could bless me with someone so amazing - and Glory to God, all praise to Him - that man is now my husband!

The Lord never lets us down, at times it may seem like it, but that is when we try to lean on our own understanding.

I pray for you my brother, that the Lord Jesus Christ will hold you tightly in His arms, and sing to you and rejoice over you, like He always does and will do. And that you will receive it with an open heart and that it will heal you from the inside out. I pray that the love of Jesus will fill you to the brim and that everyone will see Him shine through you!!!

Jesus loves you, He is mad about you!!!

Blessings
