Pray for Spiritual Gifts

Hi Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus Christ.

I have learned trough the Bible and sunday school that the spiritual gifts are given by God to prepare people for service and for building up the body of Christ and to be used in the ministry.

I received Jesus Christ as Lord in savior in the year 2008, I been praying to receive these gifts in the last months, and I need that you help me on prayer

I really want to live and to serve the Lord , with all my strenghts, and to be a blessing to other people, I know that the Lord has his purpose on everyone of us , and in his time he will answer,I know the power of prayer, and that he Lord heards and aswers prayers. I have seen the mighty hand of God in my life.

I know that somatimes we need to discover the gift, so if I already have one and I am not using it, pray with me. In Jesus name.

rickygtz: May I suggest you and your wife grow together in your christian walk. If you and your wife are not growing in the pace and at the same direction in your desire to serve the Lord it is going to be a difficult walk indeed. You need to resemble the image of Christ to your wife. That is a really hard task, ask anyone who has been married for more than 30 years.

Learning to serve your wife is actually a gift of service. If your relationship with your wife is not as Christ has said it's to be, the road ahead is going to be rough. By making your wife number 2, after Jesus which always is number 1. Blessings

Indeed, this is an area where I have been struggling, my wife is not in the same route of seeking to the serve the Lord, and I have been having quite few problems in our marriage, because of this.

We go to church together, but she has not ben changed , and transformed . I have told her that she needs to be seeking God more, and obeying him, but it is been a constan struggle, as you mention.

I ask your prayers, for wisdom and the guidance of the Lord .

I'll be married 30 years in July,hopefully I will have it figured out by then.

farout's advice is not only good I believe it is inspired from a prayerful consideration of your request.

I just learned what he is talking about maybe a year ago and I am only now having success at performing it.
Your wife is your flesh and she is your first sheep that Jesus gave you to feed.
I pray that you get clarity in the situation and that your ear hears and eye be opened and you receive the Holy Spirit.Amen

I can imagine that you are on television or You Tube on the computer or laptop where you either make a sermon speech about the Word Of God, or singing a Christian song in front of a music band on stage, while your wife is sitting quietly in the lounge of your home looking quite surprised at your hidden talent and your confidence on stage. Camera-recording and showing video evidence of your hidden talent can increase her faith in you and also her faith in our Lord Jesus who lives spiritually in our Christian hearts. May our victorious Lord Jesus awaken her faith in believing our true Jesus Christ once she has witnessed Christ's miracle to bring out the best in her partner.:*:.

On our church website. I also I have my personal website wirh small devotionals.

Quite honestlt I have tried the most I can think ro restore my marriage, I have prayed for it many many times. I have asked our pastors who marrued us to pray for our marriage.We went to a phycology, and he said shw has angermanagement. But I need to add to rhis story that in mt marriage , my wife has always have a bad temper. She would loose control in seconds and physically and verbally attack me. Not to a point of going to hospital but wounds that leave scars. Like with nails. When we were married she even went our wirh other man, but I forgive her, I been trying to keep this relation hoping that God will restore it, but at thia time I just wanr the best. I am a little affraid of a divorce, as I know is bad, and you can't get married again. I am 30 yd and is kind of hard to make my mind to thi but I know the Lord will never let me alone.

Please pray for this I have shared with all you.
As per the word posted by coconut, please might the lord speak to me, and give me revelation. I love the lord . And certainly need him.
