I'm no fan of the vatican. The text is too long for me to read with my health. I think AI is an important part of the end times beast system so an important topic to study in biblical context.

Yes I believe the same, AI used as a tool could be acceptable but cannot be trusted, Unfortunately it will be used to control us, Yes the beast is rising, we are in the end times.

interesting read, here in the province of Quebec Canada, the bibles became available only in the early 60's to the general population the Catholic church kept the people in the dark and controlled everything before that they were tyrants and abused power over the peoples, that is not so long ago,.

Availability of Catholic Bibles in Quebec

Historical Context

Catholic Bibles in Quebec became more accessible to the general public following the Quiet Revolution in the 1960s. This period marked a significant transformation in Quebec society, characterized by a move towards secularization and a reduction in the Catholic Church's influence over various aspects of life, including education and religious materials.

Key Changes

  • Before the 1960s: The Catholic Church maintained a monopoly over education and religious texts, which restricted access to the Bible for many Quebecers.
  • During the Quiet Revolution: The shift towards secularism led to increased availability of religious texts, including Catholic Bibles, allowing more people to access these materials.
This transition was part of a broader societal change that diminished the Church's control and promoted greater individual access to religious resources.

May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom

The only thing that I have against the Popes encyclical is that he never contributed anything to Jesus. Not once did he tell us to reach out to God or to Jesus or anything it was all about man and man's accomplishments

Are we talking about the Catholics or are we talking about the AI issues?

The intention was to talk about AI issues relating to biblical end times. Although I'm not a fan of the vatican in general, the pope is a very influential figure on spiritual matters.

Very important observation. Jesus should be our rock in any important matter. What's the gist of the encyclical regarding AI?
