Hello All, love and greetings to you in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ and praise be upon His name.

I've just been diagnosed with a serious form of thyroid cancer and the next step is removal of the thyroid, check where else it may have spread to, then chemotherapy. But you know the deal...three months later it is "oh it has spread to your lungs, now we can just keep chipping bits off you until you weigh 5 stone, breath like a laboured steam train, then go to your Lord". All in the space of about 5 months (some of you may understand this from experience). I would like prayer please re this life and death issue for me. Thanks & regards, Megs56

My own grandpa is going through cancer treatment right now too. They found two tumors in him around his neck and then in his lung area. I know our God is watching over Him and I also know God is watching over you too. I'll be praying for you and lifting you up to our Father God in heaven.

In 1991 had my thryod removed, they thought for sure it was cancer. They removed it, and it was 5" long, 4 1/2 " wide and 2" thick. God proved He is in control, it had no cancer.

However in 203 had cancer and took radiation and was gone until this last December. My wife and I are praying and asking that we are in the direct center of the Lords will. We will know more in July what we are going to do, when Doctors do some more tests to see how fast it is spreading.

We will pray for the Lord to direct you path. Blessings.

No no no,if I have to stay and put up with this world and this cross (which hurts by the way) then I need company.

Megs 56 : I command you to live by the authority of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Lets see what Gods word has to say and I can show you the will of the one whose authority I speak in.

1 Corinthians 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Death is an enemy and not a calling.Death will be destroyed eventually and it is now under the feet of Christ so it can be overcome before it is done away with.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

I not only command life to enter you but I command abundant life to enter you and become a river of life that flows through you to everyone who you contact.I have the right to command this by the name of Jesus because I know it is my Fathers will that this abundant life be yours in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Father I believe you have already blessed Megs56 because your word in the book of Ephesians claims it has already taken place.

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

I hope you can see why I believe I have the authority to command these things because I'm not really doing anything more than agreeing with the actual truth of who you already are and where you already exist in Christ.

You need to get your Joy and strength back and I often do that by reading the first few chapters of Ephesians over and over until I get those truths saturated into my thought patterns.In fact Ive been reading it now for about 5 days.

I will continue to thank God for your life and the defeat of anything(such as death) that tries to exalt itself above the Glory of Christ working in your life.

Thank you sister for believing God's word over your five senses or any evil report from some man.
That liar(the thief) is expecting you to bow to his version of how your life turns out.

When the disciples asked Jesus why a man was born blind they asked "was it his sin or his parents sin". Jesus answered,neither,but that the Glory of God might be known.That is the only reason these things happen is that there is a potential for God's mercy and glory to be known.

God's plan is to be glorified by his son.
John 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
God's name will be glorified in you and by you if you believe that he sent his son and his sons work actually worked.
John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

We are asking God to move in your life so that he may be glorified not only so that you will live.He is not going to be satisfied with healing you.He will not be satisfied until the abundant life that his son came to offer the world in order to glorify himself is flowing through you and you become a fountain of his living water(water=God's word).

I want to emphasize the joy that God had planned and how it all ties together in glorifying God and the confirming of Gods word by miracles.Joy is evidence that you believe God sent his son and that his son was successful in his mission.
It is virtually impossible for you to have joy in this situation so take note of any moment you feel even a little bit.That would be evidence of his grace and power working in you.Do a search on verses that contain joy and sing any songs you know about joy.Joy tortures darkness,fear feeds it.

I hope I can explain to you better what I see in his word.
I will try over a few posts because it is a lot to absorb.
Then I could have someone who sees what I do to talk to...like say,a year from now.

John 17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
See,you are not getting out of this mess that easily.

Thiscrosshurts - what can I say to such a beautiful post? The Lord Jesus just shines through your words for me. I am trying to keep my spirits up and my faith intact but am finding it a little hard. And you know what? I'm having trouble believing that healing exists for me. Yes, I know it is the enemy but I just may be wallowing in a bit of self pity too at the moment!!! I think this is a testing time and I want to come through it. Praise God - He will lead me through. Thank you once again and....talk to you in a year or so!!!

It is easier to believe for someone else isn't it.
Thats why we are instructed to pray for one another and that is one way which we seek first his kingdom.The same Angels that will go forth to answer your prayers for him will set up camp at your house.

Ok sometimes we see good coming from the horrible situation and we should because all things work together for good.This has often led us to believe that it is good that the trial happened.That sounds nice but it is a lie because we see things backward.We know the trial is not God's will because of John 10:10:
The thief comes not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus said "in the world you shall have tribulation,but be of good cheer because I have overcome the world".
What.?.tribulation and good cheer..at the same time?

NO,get out of time,it's killing us all(I'll explain later,but the key is in Ephesians).

Heroin is not a sin but self pity is because it is unbelief.
We use self pity for pain management and we are better off smoking crack.Because nothing that goes into the body is impure but that which comes out of the mouth.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Apparently Joy has a pattern,it starts with pain.
The end of the pattern is that God is Glorified when you ask and receive so that your joy may be full.
And his name is exalted in the earth.Ultimately by even non-believers.
So then trials are good,no they are evil because they are not God's will
But,but but.. do see why we should never be partakers of the knowledge of good and evil.
No, ALL things always work together for good but I have no clue what good or evil is because what I think is good is sometimes keeping me from being an overcomer in Christ.For this I need training and so I need an enemy,but is the enemy really evil.?I don't know maybe he is just my teacher.Tehehe...shhh..he works for dad,let's go play on the factory floor..

I'm not going to try to figure out the difference between good and evil,Adam tried it and that didn't go so swell.

Blessing to you megs56. Most of the time,not every time, but most times,we grow in faith slow,I myself started with wanting an icecream float, I did not have any money for. It was Sunday evening and some of the brothers and sisters asked me to go with them to get some.

I did not tell them I did not have any money,I said give me a moment please.Went into my room and prayed a short prayer,I was about 1 month old in the Lord at this time.It was brief,it went kind of like this." Lord I want to fellowship with some of my new brothers and sister tonight,they are going to get some icecream,I do not have the money for that,but you said ask and you shall receive.( matt 7:7) So I am asking you Lord to take care of this for me,I will go in faith believing in you! Thank you Lord for looking out once again for me". That was it!! LOl

I went, long story short! We had our icecream,everyone had paid for theirs, and now it was my turn,it came to 94 cents. 1984 icecream was cheaper then!! LOL Anyway,They all walked back to the car,and I was all alone,the enemy spoke to my mind at this point.

Well Now look what you have done! You bought something you do not have the money for,and will have to wash dishes to pay for this!! PLUS!! No one is around to help you either!! LOL Yes the devil laughted! I said NO Mr. Devil!! Jesus said in his Word if I ask anything in his name he would give me what I asked. So be gone! Jesus is my Lord I trust HIM!! With that!! I went up to pay for the float,.94 cents the lady replied.She put out her hand to receive the money. JUST THEN!!

A man came in from the fellowship, and said Oh Mark!! I am sorry that float was on me,and handed her the money! Now of course I was very young in the Lord at that time,but do you see the point to this? ( 1 Samuel 17:32-37!!!) We all have to start somewhere!! Think back, when you were younger and what the Lord did for you back then!

Then when Goliath steps forward,you have the very same assurance!!( Hebrews 11:1!!) So now someone has told you that Goliath is waiting for you!! SO WHAT!!!!! You in the Lord will do the very same thing to him!! As God delivered you before this time! David rose against Goliath because David knew our Lord,even as you know the Lord! So why should your case be any different!!

God has not changed!God's Word has not changed either!( Malachi 3:6,Hebrews 13:6!) For this reason!!!!! Hebrews 11:6!! And then examples of such! Add you to that!Even as Jesus added me,and many others here can also testify!!He will add your name as well! WE SEEK!!! Bless God!! WE ALWAYS FIND!!! Praise the name of Jesus FOREVER!!! amen!

Another step on the road

Dear Brighthouse - how right you are. I loved your story, and upon reading it, some similar incidents rose up in my mind. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ, He has done lovely things for me all my life and I focus on the immediate issues rather than what He can (and does) do for us.

Before I got the diagnosis, my daughter had asked me to accompany her to see a Dr Philip Day as she is interested in health matters for her family. I grudgingly agreed as it was over the other side of Melbourne (see what a poor Christian I am??). Then I got the diagnosis and found out that Philip Day wrote a book called - "Cancer - why we're still dying to know the truth". This was a book I was chasing when my mother was dying of brain cancer ten years ago. Neither of us knew I had cancer....but my Lord did. He set it up. Then I was looking up a practitioner who worked with a Dr Ian Brighthope - who strengthens the body while it is having chemotherapy. Right down the bottom of the list of practitioners was a tiny little entry for a GP by the name of Dr Michael Lee. Nearly missed it. So visited Dr Lee and he has Christian scriptures around the walls of his waiting room and office (highly unusual for a GP in this country). Praise the Lord God of Heaven - He is watching over me!! I am going to a specialist for surgery on 5th April. So I am fulfilling as much as I can (Physician, heal thyself) and trusting in my God for all the things I cannot control.
Sorry for the rambling diatribe, but I wanted to give you an update and thank you all for your love and support and your beautiful messages. And if the Lord has decided to take me Home....I will be waiting for you all with love in my heart and arms outstretched.

My lovely friends,

I have something to tell you which will knock your socks off.

You know that I was diagnosed definitely as having thyroid cancer and told that I had to see a specialist to see how far it had spread and to determine what bits of me needed to come out.

I then had prayer.

My pastor anointed me and the Church prayed for me. All of your fragrant prayers were sent up to heaven also.

I think I even had a "right head" before the Lord and had accepted that my dying may bring Him glory, or may bring others to Him.

After prayer, I saw the specialist and he asked for another biopsy to be done as he wanted to be sure about what type of cells he was dealing with, as he didn't think he had the experience and thought he may have to refer me on.

Had the biopsy two weeks ago and had an ultrasound at the same time. My lymph nodes were CLEAR.

The medical staff couldn't work it out - they'd never had a diagnostic problem before, usually they knew exactly what they were dealing with.

I then had a blood test. A cancer marker they did in that test came back NORMAL.

There is another test still to come back, but the specialist phoned jmy husband this morning and told him that my situation is no longer life threatening.

I will still have the thyroid out, but there is no cancer.

My Lord has healed me. I WILL see my grandson's 21st birthday. I WILL be here to grow old(er) and crotchety(er). And I WILL love Him for the rest of my little existence here on earth, and for eons I will worship Him in Heaven.

So I want to thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts, from the bottom of my heart.
