Blessings in the Lord Jesus:
This happened 2 or so years ago. I had forgotten about it and God brought it back to memory about 3 days ago.
One morning while praying and talking to the Lord, I picked a guitar up off the pool table and stroked the cords.
I never could play one but always had a desire, yet never learned, I confessed to God.
I lay it back on the pool table, face up.
I stood at my patio door watching my dog in the yard play with His ball.
I said, "Lord, I am always singing to you and praising you. I know you can play that guitar. Why don't you ever play me a song?"
Still looking out the patio door, I heard a single cord "TWANG".
I immediately said, "Yes, Lord. I am here".
Just sure peace and love I felt.
I laughed, "Is that all I get?"
I turned around and went to the pool table. I wanted to know what string had been plucked.
It was the 2nd from the bottom. He loves us more than Himself. He put Himself 2nd to us. Laying down His life for us. That was revelation I heard, when I checked which string it was.
I spend everyday praising God and including Him in my every move, but this morning was special.
Ask, believing ye receive, and it shall be given you. Amen.
I asked, not really taking a thought that He would play me a song, but He indeed let me know; He heard me and He is always with me. Amen.
I was walking in total unity with Him all day long.
I got to tell my son about it a month or so later.
I said, Just one. All I got was one cord, but it was so amazing."
He said, "Mom, think about it. One cord, one accord."
Wow, the Lord continued to bless me with something that happened one time, months later.
My son said, "Mom, you shine walking in the Lord. He is all over you. How many people really give Him all of themselves?"
Brothers and sisters; we can have as much of Him as we want.
What are you willing to give to receive His blessings?
Self has to put Him before ALL things, and lay down self FOR HIM.
It isn't about self; it is all about Jesus. Amen.
