I just want to put in a prayer request on behalf of the world. The world is in agony and calls out for healing. I pray that everyone takes time to pray for all the suffering and believes in their heart, that through the LORD, through the Holy Spirit and through Jesus Christ that we can see healing in our lifetime. There are so many that need our prayers, a world crying in pain. Hope you can spend a few moments in praying for all of the LORD and His people, that through Jesus Christ there are many!!! Please pray for the day when the LORD will....Passage Hosea 2:23:

I will plant her for myself in the land;
I will show my love to the one I called 'Not my loved one.
I will say to those called 'Not my people, 'You are my people';
and they will say, 'You are my God.' "

Please pray for salvataion for the world, I would conisder it a special pleasure to know that you all understand that our prayers can and will be answered.

I love that passage from Hosea. The love story of God's love for us. Though we rebell and play the harlot, God's desire is for our redemption and restoration of covenant love relationship with Him.

I am reminded of Jesus' prayer. In John chapter 17 He says ""I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those you gave me, for they belong to you." (John 17:9)

I understand your heart, Pixie, is to pray for the lost Those millions of hurting people that NEED to know the Love of God. So my prayer tonight echos Jesus' in that "I pray that they may all be one. Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one, so that the world will believe that you sent me."(John 17:21)

It is my prayer that we learn to be one so that our love for God and our love for each other expresses to the "world" his love so that the world will believe and in believing find healing, restoration and salvation.

Hi Pixie
I too have been and still am in a position of seeing the needs out there and it becomes very overwhelming.
Yet when I lived in Mexico and 1st hand had to keep walking along with food in my stomach and going to where I had a roof over my head and even something to sleep on that night which wasnt a rock under my head while thousands around me werent. I too cried out in prayer to our Father saying how can I possibly make any difference in this vast amount of needs and He said one at a time my child one at a time.

Prayer was and always will be our 1st weapon. Then next I reach out in which ever tangible way I can at that time of need that is in front of me with what little I have.
Some time this is taking meds and Doctors to remote areas, sometimes its a simple cup of peanut butter and milk to one who is sitting in the dirt beside the road.
I first feed the body and then feed the soul and then leave the rest up to the Lord. I have tried to line the individuals up with local churches and others who will continue to feed into them spiritually but its hard when you cant stay.
That why I love feeding into a national who can then be there to feed his or her people. PTL.

After all these years I still get choked and teared seeing all these needs in other countrys and here in our cities.
Keep up the good work and fight.

Dear Lord, we know that your internal plan is to redeem the world through your son Christ Jesus. as your word says

Colossians 1:19-20

19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
20 and by Him to reconcile all things (the world) to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
