My uncle Rev. Stan has just lost his wife of what would have been 41 years in October. He was married when he was 17 years old so he spent all of his adult life with her by his side. He has not allowed himself much time to grieve because he was trying to be strong for his 2 daughters, his son, his 7 grandchildren, and his congregation. Tues the 8th we burried her and on thurs the 10th his father Rev. Joe was in an automobile accident on his way back from the funeral. He is currently stable in ICU with all his ribs on one side broken and some other injuries. When Rev. Stan drove up to visit his dad in the hospital he became overwhelmed and was admited to the hospital with chest pains. Thankfully all tests were negative and we are told they were stress related. The family flew him back home to get rest where he is today as I ask you for your prayers.
Please pray for Rev. Stan, Rev. Joe, all their paternal and spiritual families.
Also the family has welcomed a foreign exchange student into their home and all this has happened when he has only been here a week in a strange country and all this has been happening to his hosts and I see it has taken a toll on him as well.
On one last note I ask you take the time not only to pray for those in this request but also at least one other person today. Either on this website or what I like to do is just pray for a stranger I see passing by on the road. God the Father formed each and every one of us in our mothers wombs and Jesus said "...whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother." (NIV Matt. 12:50)
Thank you for your time and prayers. May God Bless you in ways you could never imagine.
